I AM HE

Who is God to God? Who does He declare Himself to be? to us?

I AM HE
Isaiah 46:4
“And even to your old age I am He; and even to hoar (gray/white) hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.”

Isaiah 43:13, 25
-“Even from eternity I am He, and none can deliver out of My hand. When I act, who can reverse it?"
-“I, only I, am He who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins.”

Isaiah 48:12
“Listen to Me, O Jacob, and Israel, whom I have called: I am He; I am the first, and I am the last.”

Deuteronomy 32:39
See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of My hand.

Revelation 1:18
I am He that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

John 8:18
I am He who testifies about Myself, and the Father who sent Me testifies about Me.

Revelation 2:23
And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am He which searches the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

John 18:6, 8
As soon then as He had said unto them, I am He, they went backward, and fell to the ground.
Jesus answered, I have told you that I am He: if therefore you seek Me, let these go their way.

Jeremiah 29:23
“Because they have acted foolishly in Israel and have committed adultery with their neighbors’ wives and in My Name have spoken false and concocted words, which I did not command them. I am He who knows and I am a witness,” says the LORD.’”

Isaiah 51:12
I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you should be afraid Of a man who will die, And of the son of a man who will be made like grass?”

Isaiah 41:4
Who has performed this and carried it out, calling forth the generations from the beginning? I, the LORD—the first and the last—I am He.”

John 4:26
I am He,” Jesus told her, “the One speaking to you.”

Hagar called Him, THE GOD WHO SEES. Genesis 16:13 So she called the LORD who spoke to her: The God Who Sees, for she said, “In this place, have I actually seen the One who sees me?”

This example of Hagar is but one, there are so many more names of God and Christ Jesus scattered throughout the Bible, the Scriptures, waiting for us to dig in and dig deep the nuggets of riches which God has prepared for us to find.

But for today, it is enough to know that God Is I AM HE. Creator. Caller. Speaker. Comforter. Testifier. Searcher. Burden Bearer. Justice Giver. Knowledge Bearer. The One Who Is Alive Evermore. Witness. The Only God.

Which of His names have you discovered as you have searched out the Words of The Scriptures? Which, if any, have impacted you the most? And why?

For me, from this list of I AM HE verses, I would have to say that Revelation 1:8 speaks to me the most. "I am He that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death." He, Jesus Christ, son of the Living God, is ALIVE FOR EVERMORE. He, Jesus Christ, holds the keys of hell and death. You know what that means? I have nothing to fear. For I am in Christ, and Christ is n me, therefore, I am alive with Christ! What a comforting, strengthening thought.

Ephesians 2:4-10
But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved! And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. in order that in the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His grace, demonstrated by His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.

I am alive in Christ and He is alive in me.

What Am I Wearing?

 Revelation 16:15

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Garments: the outer garment worn over the undergarment next to the skin, long flowing cloak, robe, mantle, apparel, raiment

I Am Wearing Jesus Christ
Romans 13:14
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

I Am Wearing Righteousness & Justice
Job 29:14
I put on righteousness, and it clothed me; justice was my robe and my turban.

I Am Wearing Salvation
Isaiah 61:10
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Ephesians 6:17
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

I Am Wearing Truth
Ephesians 6:14
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

I Am Wearing Peace
Ephesians 6:15
and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace

I Am Wearing Faith & Love
1 Thessalonians 5:8
But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

I Am Wearing The Fruit of The Spirit
Colossians 3:12
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

Intelligent Worship -- Seek God -- Part 2

Now that we recognize the Authority of the One True God, we earnestly desire to know Him better, so we Seek Him out, craving with all our hearts to hear His voice more clearly, that we may understand His Word more readily.

Isaiah 55:6
Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Luke 11:9-10
So I tell you: Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

In Isaiah 55 it is the Lord God Who is speaking. From verse one all the way through, we read and hear the Lord God speaking to us: from the promise to the warning to the reward.
The Lord God will not always be found for one day He will not only pull His church from the face of the earth, but His Holy Spirit will leave, too. He will be sought by many who waited to long to surrender their hearts and their decision to believe in Him will be at the cost of their lives.
Revelation 14:14-20
They who do not take the mark of the beast will be made to suffer and be killed for their decision. Many will refuse to take it and not still not believe the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ. But those people who do believe will be added to the growing list of martyrs whose names are written in the Book of Life (Revelation 17:6).

You know, once you start reading Revelation it's really hard to stop. Seeking the Lord is fulfilling to the heart and the spirit of me, as it surely and hopefully is to you, too.

David wrote in Psalm 34:8 "Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!" To 'taste' here means 'to perceive, to know, to examine by tasting' in small quantities at a time to the goodness of the Lord.

Synonyms for 'taste': Perceive, Discern, Savor (upon the {spiritual} tongue); Understanding, Desire, Heart; Appreciate, Have Knowledge Of.

When I seek God, I want to know more than I already know. I started studying deeply before I became a minister of the Word. Just reading my Bible every day wasn't enough: I had to know, I craved the meat of the Word because I was growing up in Him exponentially. I still am. Some days I run, some days I walk, but every day I am in the Word. It is as much a part of me as breathing is.

Philippians 1:20-21
I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have complete boldness so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. or to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Intelligent Worship Series -- Intro

Intelligent Worship brings us into the presence of God. There are 12 parts to this series, plus this introduction.

What do we see when we enter the presence of God? John, in the Spirit, saw an emerald rainbow around the throne of God. Emeralds come in just about every color known, so while many envision a green bow around the throne, I see so much more.

--John heard a voice like a trumpet speak to him.
Revelation 4:1
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
--John saw a throne and someone sitting on it.
Revelation 4:2
And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
--John saw the radiance and could only describe what he saw in colors he knew.
Revelation 4:3
And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald

Ezekiel saw so much when he entered the eternal presence of God that I can only list a couple of them here.
--Ezekiel was always in the presence of God, for the Word came to him.
Ezekiel 1:3
The Word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.
--Ezekiel saw a sapphire throne.
Ezekiel 10:1
Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

--Isaiah saw the Lord on His throne.
Isaiah 6:1
In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
Isaiah saw and heard the worshiping seraphim and instantly repented.
Isaiah 6:2-6
--Isaiah heard the voice of the Lord.
Isaiah 6:8
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

--Daniel saw the Ancient of Days and the Son of Man together.
Daniel 7:9-14

Many are the wondrous things to see in the presence of God, not the least of which is the Lord God Himself! Intelligent worship brings us into the presence of God, but it won't keep us there. For there is much work to be done before our day arrives to be there permanently with Him.

Until then we will read and re-read all the gloriousness of being in God's presence.
Adam had it, then he lost it. That can happen to us, too, if we're not careful. Let us watch and pray, therefore, that our testimony may be perfect when we see God.

I Go -- Spirit Song

 I GO (for Gloria Brostowski)
June 21-23, 1995 Matthew 6:20; John 14:1-2; Revelation 3:20

In my Father’s house are many mansions,
Many treasures, Many crowns.
I go to prepare a place for you.

-Chorus-
I go to prepare a place for you.
When you come home,
I’ll be waiting there, too.
I’ll have My hands outstretched to welcome you,
I go to prepare a place for you.

Truly the harvest is plenty, but laborers they are few.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations. I go.
-Chorus-
I go to prepare a place for you.
When you come home,
I’ll be waiting there, too.
I’ll have My hands outstretched to welcome you,
I go to prepare a place for you.

The Holy Spirit is now among us; We are ready and
We are here To reap the harvest of the nations.
We go.

-Chorus-
I go to prepare a place for you.
When you come home,
I’ll be waiting there, too.
I’ll have My hands outstretched to welcome you,
I go to prepare a place for you.

*When I lived in Lake Geneva, one of the churches I became attached to was the local Assembly of God Church. This was written for my pastor's wife, Gloria.
This is one of my Just For You songs. There are a few.

The Lord Is -- April

TSUR YISRAEL

ROCK OF ISRAEL

Isaiah 30:29

You will sing as on the night of a holy festival, and your heart will rejoice like one who walks to the music of a flute, going up to the mountain of the LORD, to the Rock of Israel.

YHVH ELOHIM QADOSH

THE LORD OUR GOD IS HOLY

Psalm 99:9

Exalt the LORD our God and worship at His holy mountain, for the LORD our God is holy.

BACHIR

CHOSEN ONE

Isaiah 42:1

“Here is My Servant, whom I uphold, My Chosen One, in whom My soul delights. I will put My Spirit on Him, and He will bring justice to the nations."

Matthew 12:17-21

This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:

“Here is My Servant, whom I have chosen, My beloved, in whom My soul delights. I will put My Spirit on Him, and He will proclaim justice to the nations.

He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear His voice in the streets.

A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not extinguish, till He leads justice to victory.

In His name the nations will put their hope.”

Matthew 1:21

"She will give birth to a Son, and you shall name Him Jesus (The LORD is salvation), for He will save His people from their sins.”

Philippians 2:9-11

Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names,

that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

LEON IOUDAS

LION OF JUDAH

Revelation 5:5

But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.”

Hebrews 7:14-15

He of whom these things are said belonged to a different tribe, from which no one has ever served at the altar.

For it is evident that our Lord has sprung out of Judah, a tribe as to which Moses spoke nothing concerning priests.

Micah 5:2

But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come forth for Me One to be Ruler over Israel--One whose origins are of old, from the days of eternity.

Today's Word -- Shelter

PSALM 61:4

Let me dwell in Your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah.

PSALM 91:1

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

PSALM 27:5

For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; He will conceal me under the cover of His tent; He will set me high upon a rock.

Both Psalm 61:4 and Psalm 91:1 describe 'shelter' as a 'covering', while Psalm 27:5 references it to mean 'tabernacle or pavilion'. Only Psalm 27:5 is derived from the root word "cakak" which means 'covering', so we see that God is our Shelter, our covering, our tabernacle, our pavilion.

The KJV of Psalm 91:1 says God is our 'secret place' and in Psalm 32:7 God is our 'Hiding Place'. All of these verses and many more refer to God as our Shelter. But what is shelter? Is it just four walls and a roof or is it more than that?

If we only had four walls and a roof, would be sheltered? Where is our fire to keep us warm? Where are our meals to nourish us? From where does the water flow which quenches our thirst? How are we clothed? Are our feet properly shod? All of these things are in our Shelter when we are Sheltered by God.

Isaiah 33:14-17 tells us that only the righteous can live where the fire of God burns.

Isaiah 55:1-2 tells us to purchase with faith what God has promised His people: He bids the thirsty to come and drink, the hungry to feast on the richest of foods, if (vs 3) they will only listen to Him.

Isaiah 61:3 says He gives us in garments of praise in exchange for garments of despair. Revelation 3:5 tells us we are dressed in white, while Revelation 19:8 is even more specific in definition: fine linen, bright and pure, which are the righteous acts of the saints. We can't apply this type of clothing to ourselves. It must be applied by faith in and obedience under our Shelter.

Romans 13:14 tells us "put on the Lord Jesus Christ". Do you think this is impossible? Only through faith. Galatians 3:27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Ephesians 4:21-32 shows us who we were without the covering of Christ's righteousness, how we should want to behave now that we are covered by Christ's righteousness and how to live a righteous lifestyle by turning our backs on the way we used to live versus the way we ought to live as God's people.

Ephesians 6:15 is part of the spiritual armor of God that a born-again believer wears: sandaled with the gospel of peace. In other words, always ready to preach the Faithful and True Word of God in Love. Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"

Are you this Sheltered? What's preventing you from opening the door of your heart and letting Jesus Christ in to it?

Revelation 3:20

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone should hear My voice and open the door, then I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

Separated

2 CORINTHIANS 6:17

"Therefore come out from among them and be separate," says the Lord. "Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you."

Separate: to set boundaries, to set or place apart

Matthew 25:31-35, 41

When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne.

All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

He will place the sheep on His right and the goats on His left.

Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.'

Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.'

Revelation 18:4

"Then I heard another voice from heaven say: "Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins or contract any of her plagues."

If we don't separate ourselves now, the LORD God will separate folks later. A conscious decision has to be made to commit one's self to a life lived according to God's will and God's purpose for us.

It is not that we 'cannot' do what we used to do before we got saved, it's that we choose not to do what used to do. Nor do we want to do or be what we got saved from. We want to live a separated life unto God.

Sin separates a person from God. Sin is unholiness. Sin is unrighteousness. Sin is disobedience to God's Word. To die in sin is to be forever, eternally, separated from God. There is no changing one's mind after death. And a person cannot be prayed into heaven by another after death. The decision to follow Christ must be made this side of heaven, this side of eternity, this side of breath.

Today is your day of salvation. Today is the day you give your heart to God. Today is the day you surrender your bodies as living sacrifices to God. Today is your day to believe that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD. Today is your day to be filled with God's Holy Spirit and begin to live a life changed because today is the day you get saved.

Crown of Life

What is this Crown of Life? It refers to a crown received by a person(s) who has run a race and won, as we can see by reading the verses below.

1 Corinthians 9:24-25
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run [their very best to win], but only one receives the prize? Run [your race] in such a way that you may seize the prize and make it yours!
Now every athlete who [goes into training and] competes in the games is disciplined and exercises self-control in all things. They do it to win a crown that withers, but we [do it to receive] an imperishable [crown that cannot wither].
2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought the good and worthy and noble fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith [firmly guarding the gospel against error].
In the future there is reserved for me the [victor’s] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right], which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that [great] day—and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved and longed for and welcomed His appearing.
1 Peter 5:4
And when the Chief Shepherd (Christ) appears, you will receive the [conqueror’s] unfading crown of glory.
Revelation 2:10
Fear nothing that you are about to suffer. Be aware that the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested [in your faith], and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful to the point of death [if you must die for your faith], and I will give you the crown [consisting] of life.

Living Water

 John 4:14

"But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a fount of water springing up to eternal life.”

It is not enough to believe in God, we must also believe in God's Word. For there is but one God and in Him, through Him and by Him have all people and things been created (John 1:3). On Him we are dependent for every breath of life. He supplies our every need. In Him we have no lack: He satisfies our every need (Psalm 23:1).

We must also believe God's Word is Faithful and True (Revelation 19:11). As such, we should choose to surrender who we are in ourselves and follow Jesus Christ with our whole hearts and lives (Romans 12:1), not just giving Him lip service. It is not enough to say, 'I believe God exists' then turn around and say, 'the Bible is an ancient text and does not apply to me.'

It is like saying, 'Yes, I see the fresh water, but no matter how thirsty I am I'm not going to drink it.' Sight alone isn't enough to save our souls. Many people followed Jesus during His ministry years on earth, but not many stayed following. For the words which He spoke were hard to hear and most definitely unconventional.

Are some of us rejecting God's Word because we don't want to hear it? Yes. Are some of us ignoring God's Word because it prohibits us from having what we think of as fun? Yes. Are some of us choosing an unrighteous lifestyle because a righteous lifestyle is contrary to popular living? Yes. How do we get out of that cycle of self-destruction? Drink the water.

Drink the Living Water which the Word of God offers to those who have received His first Gift, His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. How do we do that? We ask Him for it. We ask God for the Living Water which quenches the thirst of our souls. Living Water flows without end, constantly refreshing the one who asks for it. What is this Living Water? The Holy Spirit of God.

It is God's Spirit which strengthens us and fills us with power (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4) to walk by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7) in God's Word as we travel our journeys in this life on this earth. It is God's Spirit which enables the believers to speak the Truth of God's Word to the world into which He sends us. It is by this power that I speak now. I crave the Living Water which refreshes my soul and strengthens my spirit. It is this Water I drink.

The Word tells us in Psalm 42:1-2  As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul longs after You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, the living God. When shall I come and appear in God’s presence? And again in Psalm 84:2 My soul longs, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

Are you thirsty? Come to the Water. Come to the Well.

Being Wise

And many who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, but others to shame and everlasting contempt. then the wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever. Daniel 12:2-3

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30

Contemplate this: are we the wise or the shameful? Will we go into everlasting life or everlasting contempt? How can we know now?

Are we leading people to righteousness, telling people about the saving grace of God through the blood of Jesus Christ? That’s being wise.

Are we saved through the blood of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, who died on the cross? Who bore our sins upon Himself? That’s being wise.

What is wisdom? Listening to and Obeying the Word of God with joy and a merry heart. Not with anger, nor accusative words, but with Love, with Patience, with Mercy. We are to treat one another with Grace and with Peace that passes understanding in this world.

We must ask ourselves, “Am I being wise?”. Am I honoring God with my words and my works? Am I telling people about my Jesus, testifying what He has done for me? Am I a fruitful servant? Am I even saved in this manner, by the blood of Jesus Christ? And if I am not, how can I know that I am?

Romans 10:8-10

8. But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:

9. that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

10. For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.

Some live on the false hope, false belief that sin is not real and salvation is not necessary. This is foolishness and definitely not wisdom. Wisdom comes from God. True morality and knowing right from wrong is having the wisdom of God.

Romans 3:22-23

22. And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction,

23. for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:10, 18

10. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.

18. “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

Romans 6:23

23. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 5:8

8. But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:13

13. For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Romans 8:1

  1. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

And that’s how you can know you are saved, that’s how you can know now whether or not you are being wise or being shameful. So, again, the question is put forth: are we, are you, am I, being wise? Am I leading my family, my friends, my enemies and the strangers I meet daily to righteousness? Am I telling them, you, about my Jesus? Have I told you lately what Jesus Christ has done for me?

He saved me. He filled me with His precious Holy Spirit. He walks with me daily and all throughout my day. He talks with me, tells me things I need to hear and know. He lives in my heart, cleaning it out and making more room for His glory. My Jesus loves me. My Jesus died for me so I wouldn’t be sent into everlasting contempt. My Jesus feeds me with His daily Bread and quenches my thirst with His Living Water. My Jesus both satisfies me and gives me a hunger to know Him more.

This I want for you. But only you can make that decision. I can pray for you. But only you can make your choice. Do you want to go to heaven? Or do you want to go to hell? Hell is not a pretty place. It is not a land of endless parties, nor is it a nothingness. Hell is hot. Hell is ugly. Hell is a place where you are never happy, never satisfied.   If you are selfish in this life, your selfish attitude goes with you to Hell. You can’t leave Hell after you die, so praying for this to happen after a person dies without Jesus Christ is foolishness.

Luke 16:19-31 is the parable of the rich man and the beggar.  Here we learn what Hell is.

23. It is a place of torment.

24. It is hot and fiery.

26. It is separated from Paradise by a great chasm which none can cross, nor can anyone leave Hell.

We have six senses in this life. Some work like they’re supposed to, some don’t. Whether we are in Heaven or Hell, we will have all six and they will all work.

Sight

Hearing

Touch

Smell

Taste

Knowing

How do we know this? Again, read Luke 16:19-31

Luke 16:23

Torment is felt (touch)

Luke 16:23

The rich man could see Lazarus in the distance.

Luke 16:24

Though he had never seen him, the rich man recognized (knowing) Abraham right away (sight) and in his selfishness begged for the poor man to tend his needs. He was hot (touch) and thirsty (taste) and in agony (touch).

The sense of smell is implied because the man was burning and whatever is on fire smells like it is on fire. It’s not a good smell when it’s a person.

A person can speak and hear in Hell, for the rich man spoke with Abraham and heard (hearing) Abraham’s response.

As nasty as it is to choose to go to Hell, Hell will not last forever. But this is not good for those who choose to go there either.

Revelation 20:14-15

14. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire.

15. And if anyone was found whose name was not written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

That’s Hell and Hell’s destination. Why would anyone in their right mind choose to disobey God and go to Hell? We can only have a right mind if Christ is in us and we are in Him. This comes through believing on His name,

Mark 5:9, 15, 18-20

9. "What is your name?" Jesus asked. "My name is Legion," he replied, "for we are many."

15. When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons sitting there, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.

18. As He was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed by the demons begged to go with Him.

19. But Jesus would not allow him. “Go home to your own people,” He said, “and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and what mercy He has shown you.”

20. So the man went away and began to proclaim throughout the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And everyone was amazed.

The man who was put in his right mind went back home and began to tell his family and friends about what his Jesus had done for him. He was being wise and fruitful.

I am in my right mind. Though the world calls me crazy, God calls me His child. Though people call me odd and radical, Jesus calls me friend. I am being wise. And it is my prayer that I continue to be so. I want you to be so, too. I pray Ephesians 3 over your life. I pray the Romans Road to Salvation into your hearts and minds. I pray the Word of God bless you and make known to you the true Love of God and that you come into the knowledge of saving grace.

AI & Praying the Scriptures

With every technological advancement society states the obvious: this is the end of the world as we know it And they're right. But all of these advancements are getting people ready for the ultimate technological advancement revealed in Revelation 13. The beast, the image of the beast and the false prophet will not alarm people. Some will be awed, some fearful. But the world as we know it then will change drastically and dramatically. I don't want to be her then. I don't want anyone to be here. Especially people I know and love. So I pray.

The beast out of the sea and the beast out of the earth will work together to deceive even more people. The beast out of the sea will be wounded and die. The beast out of the earth will revive the beast out of the sea and have an image (statue, representation) of the first beast created and set up. And this image, this statue, will speak. So I pray.

This world has built many tall statues intended to draw attention to both the statue and the cultural significance of the statue. Can you imagine if the Statue of Liberty began to speak? It is 151 feet in height and stands on a pedestal that is 165 feet tall. The voice would surely terrify people. I know I'd be shocked. Or the statue of Christ the Redeemer in Brazil began to move? That statue is 125 feet tall with a base of 98 feet. There are other statues which are larger and would most certainly have an impact on people should they begin to move and speak (Spring Temple Buddha in China at 502 feet and the Statue of Unity in India at 597 feet).

And, yet, it won't be the size of the statue that impresses people at that time: it will be his ability to talk. The worst form of artificial intelligence ever will have people worshiping it or dying. For whoever does not worship the image of the beast will be killed. And as horrific as that is, keep in mind that everyone who worships the image, the statue, of the beast will receive a mark which allows them freedom in purchasing power. Without this mark no one will be able to buy or sell anything. So I pray.

I pray Ephesians 3 over my family, my friends, my strangers and my enemies. Surely God will or has given you Scriptures through the years to pray over certain people or situations. This is no different. While I can't list each and every one of you by name, they are mentioned by subgroup.

My family is comprised of not only my husband and our children but our parents, our siblings, our nieces and nephews, our aunts and uncles and any other extended family we may not know, including people who call me Auntie or Mom even if we're not related.

My friends are people I know and am acquainted with, including friends of our children, friends we hang out with and contemporaries. Friends can be colleagues or coworkers, too; including missionaries and other church leaders and church staff. Those friendships may not always be strong friendships, but they are friends nonetheless.

My strangers are people I interact with throughout the day that I don't know and may never know: the cashier at the grocers, the attendant at the gas station, the ticket seller at the movies, my beautician, to give a few examples. Strangers are comprised of my government leaders, my doctors and staff, and others who are involved in my little piece of the world, including friends of friends.

My enemies are people who seek to destroy me by their words and their actions against me. Some of my enemies could fall under other subgroups. It doesn't matter, you all get prayed for. Why would we pray for our enemies? Because the Word of God tells us to. " But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." Matthew 5:44

By being faithful in prayer I hope that none of my subgroups are present when the beast and the image of the beast rule the earth. That is an artificial intelligence I hope never to interact with.

I pray Romans 10:11-13. They are the whosoevers.
I pray John 3:16, 17. They are the world to me.
I pray Ephesians 6:1-20 over God's people: they are my brethren, my brothers and sisters in Christ.

I Declare

I declare that Jesus Is LORD and believe in my ❤️ that God raised Him from the dead, therefore I am saved. For it is be believing in my ❤️ that I am made right with God, and it is by openly declaring my faith that I am saved.
Romans 10:9-10

For by grace am I saved through faith, not of anything I have done, but it is the gift of God, not by works that I have done.
Ephesians 2:8-9

Why do we need to be saved? And what are we being saved from?

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."

Unbelief determines destination after death.

John 3:18-21
"Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
And this is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil.
Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
But whoever practices the truth comes into the Light, so that it may be seen clearly that what he has done has been accomplished in God."

Revelation 21:8
But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.

Galatians 5:19-21
The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and sorcery; hatred, discord, jealousy, and rage; rivalries, divisions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

1 John 1:7-9
If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.  But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
