Given A Changed Heart

The Spiritual Transplant

Ezekiel 36:26

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Every time we try to change ourselves to be a better person our attempts fall short and many times we fall back into our old ways. We have not changed one bit.But when God changes us, we begin to be a changed person: from the inside-out. That's the only way we can begin to heal, begin to grow, begin to love.

The Christ-Filled Change

Romans 10:8-10

But what does it say? “The Word is near you; It is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.

Neither our good deeds, acts of kindness, nor our charitable donations will grant us access to the heavenly places where God's eternalness is. Only this in Romans 10:8-10>Believe with our hearts and Speak our belief out loud. Justification takes place in the heart; Salvation takes place in the mouth.

If, when we come to Christ for our salvation, but do not shout it from the rooftops nor whisper it in someone's ear nor speak what we believe aloud, are we then not saved? Have you told someone about the change God has wrought in you? And how God is still changing you? Does your life reflect your belief?

The Holy Spirit Changed Lifestyle

1 Peter 1:14-16

As obedient children, do not conform to the passions of your former ignorance. But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do, for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

Isaiah 35:8

And there will be a highway called The Way of Holiness. The unclean will not travel it--only those who walk in the Way--and fools will not stray onto it.

2 Corinthians 7:1

Therefore, beloved, since we have these promises, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that defiles body and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Holiness is a process. Like the seed that becomes a full grown plant (flower, tree, grain), time is essential to become holy. Patience is not only a virtue, it is required. Contentment with the portion of faith in God's ability to keep His promises to us is part of the process.

Holiness is a necessity. Without holiness no one can see God. And who doesn't want to see God? I want to see God and live with Him eternally. I believe that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD. And I want The Holy Spirit to continue to work in me, on me, and through me to perfect me in holiness. I will raise in life triumphant. Will you rise with me?

The Lord Is Ever Present

Psalm 139:7-10
Where shall I go from your Spirit? or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the dawn, if I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, Even there Your hand will lead me, and Your right hand will lay hold of me.

Proverbs 15:3
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
2 Chronicles 16:9a
For the eyes of The LORD roam to and fro over all the earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are fully devoted to Him.
Ezekiel 1:15-21 speaks of the four wheels within wheels, covered with eyes, that goes where The Spirit goes.
Jeremiah 23:24
Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? said the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? said the LORD.
Hebrews 4:13
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to Whom we must give account.

Job 34:22
There is no darkness or deep shadow where the workers of iniquity can hide.
Revelation 6:16
And they said to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of the One seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb."

Colossians 1:15-17
The Son is the image of The invisible God, The Firstborn over all creation.
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.

God even sees us when we are being created in our mothers' wombs. He is with us from the beginnings of life to the end of life.
Psalm 139:13-16
For You formed my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well.
My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all my days were written in Your book and ordained for me before one of them came to be.

Heart & Soul - - Newness of Life

Ezekiel 36:26
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

*Strong's Ex. Conc. No. 1320
Flesh: body
From the Hebrew word 'basar' (pronounced baw-sawr'). In this verse the contrast between a heart of stone and a heart of flesh is made apparent.

1 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!
The only way to be in Christ is to have Christ in us. There are no alternatives. We must be born again, as Jesus told Nicodemus when the elder leader spoke privately with Him (John 3:1-21).
Born of water (be baptised into Christ {Romans 6:4]) and of the Spirit (new nature, new disciplines (principles/ethics), new affections (loves), new goals). To be baptised into Christ is to accept/believe that He is the only begotten Son of God, that He died on the cross to wash away each person's sins; that He took the punishment intended for the sinner, having the sins of the whole world (from the first person who sinned to the last sinner who repents before Christ's return) laid upon Himself, He became sin and so must be punished by God for the sins on His shoulders (Isaiah 53:6).
WHY JESUS DIED
    Hebrews 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.
Reconciled by His death, Saved by His life
    Romans 5:10
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
HOW JESUS DIED
    Isaiah 53:5
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
    Psalm 22:1-31; Matthew 27:26-44; Mark 15:15-32; John 19

WHO JESUS DIED FOR
    Romans 5:6, 8
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. (8) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
    John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
    Romans 4:25
Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
    Hebrews 9:27, 28
Just as man is appointed to die once, and after that to face judgment, so also Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who eagerly await Him.
NEW LIFE IN CHRIST
  John 5:26
For as the Father has life in Himself, so also He gave to the Son to have life in Himself.
    John 11:25, 26
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; the one believing in Me, even if he should die, he will live. And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”
    John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
    2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
This new life in Christ is only available through the blood of Christ and the resurrection of Christ. So, we ask now, as Christ asked Martha, "Do you believe?"
<>   A heart of stone rejects God, rejects Christ and will not receive the power of the Holy Spirit, no matter how many lies it tells itself.
<>  A heart of flesh only comes about when God replaces the stony heart with a heart of flesh, a moldable transformable heart.
<>   A heart of stone denies Christ on every level: His divinity, His Sonship, His part in the Godhead/the trinity; His birth, His life, His death, His resurrection.
<>  A heart of flesh believes Christ on every level: His divinity, His Sonship, His place in the Godhead/the trinity; His birth, His life, His death, His resurrection.
<> A heart of stone lives for itself. It is selfish and self-centered, concerned only with its own comforts and desires.
<>   A heart of flesh lives for God in Christ through the power of The Holy Spirit. Its desires will align with God's heart and desires. A heart of flesh will be easily broken for the things of God. A heart of flesh will daily transform into what God wants it to be.
<>  A heart of stone will die in its sins unless it repents and becomes a heart of flesh.
<>   A heart of flesh dies daily. It crucifies the desires of the flesh and brings the body into submission to the Father's will through the power of His Holy Spirit.
<>    A heart of stone hardens even more so over time, refusing to acknowledge not only is there a God, but that there is only One God, The Almighty God. By refusing to recognize God as God, the heart of stone will be blind to what is sin and continue to admire the variety of sins that are upon them, which they cannot clearly see because of the darkness that is around them and in them.
<>  A heart of flesh grows fleshier, fat with the marrow of God's Word, stronger with the Love of God flowing through it and sweeter with the Peace of God pouring out of it. A heart of flesh recognizes its need for a Savior and that its only salvation is from God through Christ.
And so the people of God who dwell in the Light of Christ call out to the people living in darkness, "Come and see Jesus! Come and hear what He wants to say to you. Come to the well. Come to the cross. Come to the garden. Come and live Christ Jesus evermore. We'll have so much fun for our Joy is in Him. Not only is He preparing a place for us all to live, but there's a supper being set up and there will be a seat for everyone who receives the invitation to believe." All
are invited but not everyone will take hold of their invitation and hold onto it.
    Do you believe?

Signs & Wonders of Christ's Arrival - - The Shepherd King

Ezekiel 34:23
I will appoint over them one Shepherd, My Servant David, and He will feed them. He will feed them and be their Shepherd.

*Strong's Ex. Conc. No. 7462
Shepherd: to graze, to pasture, to tend
From the Hebrew word 'ra'ah' (pronounced raw-aw').

As Christ is the Good Shepherd, it was only fitting that the first under-shepherds were the ones who came and worshiped first. (Luke 2:8, 15-18).
GOD'S SHEPHERD IS GOOD
John 10:11, 14
11. I am The Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
14. I am The Good Shepherd, and I know My own, and I am known by My own

GOD'S SHEPHERD IS SAVIOR
Psalm 28:9
Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; shepherd them and carry them forever.
John 10:17, 18
Because of this, the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life, that I might take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from My Father.”
GOD'S SHEPHERD IS PERSONAL
John 10:3
The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen for his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
Psalm 23:1
The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
John 10:27
My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me.
GOD'S SHEPHERD IS LOVING
Isaiah 40:11
He tends His flock like a shepherd; He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart. He gently leads the nursing ewes.
Revelation 7:17
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
(Strong's Ex. Conc. No. 4165 Feed Them: to shepherd, to tend, to herd, to rule, to govern. From the Greek word 'poimainĂ³' (pronounced poy-mah'-ee-no). [occurs 11 times in the NT, usually with a figurative sense of "shepherding (tending) God's flock." This provides Spirit-directed guidance (care) conjunction with feeding His people (teaching them Scripture).]
Psalm 23:2
He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
GOD'S SHEPHERD HAS MANY SHEEP
John 10:16
I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them in as well, and they will listen to My voice. Then there will be one flock and one shepherd.
Isaiah 56:8
Thus declares the Lord GOD, who gathers the dispersed of Israel: "I will gather to them still others besides those already gathered."
Ezekiel 34:6
My flock went astray on all the mountains and every high hill. They were scattered over the face of all the earth, with no one to search for them or seek them out.'
Ezekiel 34:12
As a shepherd looks for his scattered sheep when he is among the flock, so I will look for My flock. I will rescue them from all the places to which they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness.
Ezekiel 37:24
My servant David will be king over them, and there will be one shepherd for all of them. They will follow My ordinances and keep and observe My statutes.
John 11:52
And not for that nation only, but that also He should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
John 1:11-13
He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God—children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God

As David wrote in Psalm 23, The LORD is my Shepherd. He feeds me on His Word, He refreshes me in Himself; He leads me, He guards me, He restores me, He protects me, He provides a better home for me.
Have you made The LORD your Shepherd, too? He calls your name as He travels the hillsides and valleys, looking for you to answer by running to Him, to the sound of His voice. He has no need to shout your name, nor yell out into the vast wilderness. The Shepherd King need only call out your name. And you, like I, can come to His side immediately and be nurtured by Him and in Him.

Intelligent Worship Series -- Intro

Intelligent Worship brings us into the presence of God. There are 12 parts to this series, plus this introduction.

What do we see when we enter the presence of God? John, in the Spirit, saw an emerald rainbow around the throne of God. Emeralds come in just about every color known, so while many envision a green bow around the throne, I see so much more.

--John heard a voice like a trumpet speak to him.
Revelation 4:1
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
--John saw a throne and someone sitting on it.
Revelation 4:2
And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
--John saw the radiance and could only describe what he saw in colors he knew.
Revelation 4:3
And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald

Ezekiel saw so much when he entered the eternal presence of God that I can only list a couple of them here.
--Ezekiel was always in the presence of God, for the Word came to him.
Ezekiel 1:3
The Word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.
--Ezekiel saw a sapphire throne.
Ezekiel 10:1
Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

--Isaiah saw the Lord on His throne.
Isaiah 6:1
In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
Isaiah saw and heard the worshiping seraphim and instantly repented.
Isaiah 6:2-6
--Isaiah heard the voice of the Lord.
Isaiah 6:8
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

--Daniel saw the Ancient of Days and the Son of Man together.
Daniel 7:9-14

Many are the wondrous things to see in the presence of God, not the least of which is the Lord God Himself! Intelligent worship brings us into the presence of God, but it won't keep us there. For there is much work to be done before our day arrives to be there permanently with Him.

Until then we will read and re-read all the gloriousness of being in God's presence.
Adam had it, then he lost it. That can happen to us, too, if we're not careful. Let us watch and pray, therefore, that our testimony may be perfect when we see God.

JEHOVAH ELOHIM TSABA

So, when I finished reading Jude, there was a cross-reference in verse 23 that took me to Amos 4:11, where I was compelled by the Holy Spirit to read through the end of Amos. And that's when this Name of Christ grabbed my attention.

JEHOVAH ELOHIM TSABA
THE LORD, THE GOD OF HOSTS
Amos 4:13
"For, behold, He Who forms the mountains,
Who creates the wind,
and reveals His thoughts to man,
the One Who turns the dawn to darkness,
and strides on the
heights of the earth,
The LORD,
The GOD of Hosts Is His Name."

And I talked to The Spirit about how we were going to render this name pictorially. He reminded me that God's warriors are "flaming ministers". That's why each flame carries a sword.
