The Altar and The Throne

My heart is both throne and altar.
Jesus Christ sits on the throne as
my King, my Lord, my Savior.
His Word is law and His law is love.
 "This is My commandment,
that you love one another,
as I have loved you."
(John 15:12)
And how has He loved me?
"I have loved you
with an everlasting love:
therefore, I have drawn you
with loving devotion."
(Jeremiah 31:3)
Jesus Christ is my high priest.
I bring an offering to Him daily,
a sacrifice of praise
to lay on the altar,
that He might find it acceptable,
that it would be a sweet perfume to Him.
(Romans 12:1; Romans 15:16; 1 Corinthians 3:13, 15)
Jesus.
He is my Everything.
The air I breathe,
that I might glorify Him with my words.
The steps I take,
that I might glorify Him on my journey.
The flexibility of my fingers,
that I might glorify Him with my writing.
The beating of my heart,
that I might glorify Him with
everything that is within me.
Everything to me He Is.
Jesus.
Strength.
Wisdom.
Righteousness.
Salvation.
Fortress.
Refuge.
Hiding Place.
Healer.
Shepherd.
Savior.
King of Glory
Friend.
He calls me friend.
Jesus.
