The Mercy of God - Never Fails

Lamentations 3:22

Because of the loving devotion of The LORD we are not consumed,
 for His mercies never fail.

Psalm 103:10
He has not dealt with us according to our sins or repaid us according to our iniquities.

Though The Lord could destroy us at any time for our great wickedness against His Word, yet He restrains Himself, for it is not His will that any of us should die in our sins. He wants us to repent of our unrighteous acts against Him and obey His Word, which He has given us through the cross. For Christ is The Living Word of God sent to die for each and every one of us.
Who are we that God should love us so? We are His sheep even though we were once lost in the darkness of our own hearts and minds. It is why He sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross, so that us who were once lost sheep can be found sheep and placed in His pasture of love and mercy.
Exodus 34:7 says He extends His mercy to a thousand generations: " Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation."
Numbers 14:18 tells us God is slow to anger and of great mercy. He wants us live with Him when we die. But unless we choose to live for Him now, there won't be a home in heaven for the unrepentant sinner.
1 John 1:9 tells us " If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God wants us to confess our sins against Him to Him. No one else has the power to forgive us for the sins we have committed against God except God.
It's as if you did me wrong and went to a stranger for forgiveness for what you had done to me. Would that make the wrong you did to me right? Not hardly. It is the same when we have sinned against God. To sin against God is to break His Word, to disregard His Word and to deliberately ignore His Word. To sin against God is to disobey when He tells us to do something and we don't. And when He tells us not to do something and we do it anyway. These sins need to be repented of when we come to God for His forgiveness.
In His unfailing mercy God will forgive the sincere repentant heart and wash the sins from the seeker's heart. He promises:
Psalm 32:5
Then I acknowledged my sin to You and did not hide my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD," and You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah
Psalm 51:2
Wash me clean of my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.
Proverbs 28:13
He who conceals his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them will find mercy.
1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Thanks Be To God - - For His Mercies

Lamentations 3:22
It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.

Strong's Ex. Conc. No. 2617
Mercies: kindness, lovingkindness, pity, compassion
From the Hebrew word 'checed' (pronounced kheh'-sed).
Though the word 'checed' is used over 200 times in the Old Testament, not all of these refer to the goodness of God extended to all people everywhere. It just depends on context where it is used.
Strong's Ex. Conc. No. 1656
Mercy: covenant-loyalty, covenant-love; pity, compassion
From the Greek word 'éleos' (pronounced el'-eh-os). Used 27 times in the New Testament.

Psalm 78:38
And yet He was compassionate; He forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them. He often restrained His anger and did not unleash His full wrath.
Psalm 103:10
He has not dealt with us according to our sins or repaid us according to our iniquities.
Nehemiah 9:31
Nevertheless for Thy great mercies' sake Thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for Thou art a gracious and merciful God.

THE LORD'S MERCIES:
New Every Morning
Lamentations 3:23
They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!
Never Fail
Psalm 100:5
For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.
Extends To All Generations
Luke 1:50
His mercy extends to those who fear Him, from generation to generation.
Lead To Eternal Life
Jude 1:21
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Cause Us To Be Born Again
1 Peter 1:3-5
3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the One according to His great mercy having begotten us again to a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ out from the dead,
4. and into an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, reserved in heaven for you,
5. who through faith are shielded by God’s power for the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

Dear God,
Thank You for extending Your tender mercies to us. We are forever grateful for Your lovingkindness which You have shown us through the death and resurrection of Your Son Jesus Christ.
We praise You and adore You for who You are: a loving, generous God whose love draws us from the pits of death into His warm embrace.
Be our God forever and ever.
In Jesus' Precious Name, I pray,
Amen.

THE LORD MY PORTION

Lamentations 3:24
"The LORD is my Portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in Him."

Portion: profit, reward, chosen way of life

Psalm 16:5
The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; You have made my lot secure.

Psalm 73:26
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Psalm 119:57
The LORD is my portion; I have promised to keep Your words.

Joshua 24:15
"And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Micah 4:5
Though each of the peoples may walk in the name of his god, yet we will walk in the Name of the LORD our God forever and ever.

Romans 10:8-10
But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart." That is, the word of faith which we proclaim, that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.

THE LORD GOD IS SUN AND SHIELD

Psalm 84:11
For the LORD God is a Sun and Shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Revelation 21:23
And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its lamp.

It's a personal thing. God came to Abram personally and told him that He was his Shield. Genesis 15:1 After these events, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward."
When we become God's people -- people of faith, who walk according to His Word -- He tells each one of us that He is our Sun and Shield. Therefore, THE LORD GOD IS MY SUN AND MY SHIELD

Psalm 34:9
Fear the LORD, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing.

Isaiah 60:19
The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

YAH YHVH
(pronounced yaw yeh-ho-vaw oze zim-rawth')

THE LORD GOD IS MY STRENGTH AND MY SONG

Isaiah 12:2
"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my Strength and my Song, and He has become my salvation."

Exodus 15:2
The LORD is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him, my father's God, and I will exalt Him.

Psalm 18:32-36
It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way clear. He makes my feet like hinds' feet, and sets me upon my high places. He teaches my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms. You have given me Your shield of salvation; Your right hand upholds me, and Your gentleness exalts me. You broaden the path beneath me so that my ankles do not give way.

Psalm 118:14
The LORD is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation.

Isaiah 26:4
Trust in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.

I will exalt You, my God and King; I will bless Your name forever and ever.

The LORD Is.....Month of August

ELYONE
MOST HIGH
Lamentations 3:38
Do not both adversity and good come from the mouth of the Most High?
Job 2:10
"You speak as a foolish woman speaks," he told her. "Should we accept from God only good and not adversity?" In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.
Isaiah 45:7
I form the light and create the darkness; I bring prosperity and create calamity. I, the LORD, do all these things.

The LORD GOD MOST HIGH Is Supreme. He is above all, over all and His throne is so far from us as to be beyond our sight. The LORD GOD MOST HIGH Is Omnipresent (everywhere at the same time), Omniscient (knows all, sees all) and Omnipotent (all powerful).
The Omnipresent God:
Psalm 139:7 Where shall I go from your spirit? or where shall I flee from your presence?
Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
The Omniscient God:
1 Chronicles 28:9 And you, Solomon my son, know you the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts: if you seek him, he will be found of you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off for ever.
Romans 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
The Omnipotent God:
Psalm 90:2 Before the mountains were born or You brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting You are God.
Psalm 93:2 Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting.

JEHOVAH CHECED
The LORD Is My Steadfast Love
Psalm 144:2
He is my steadfast love and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer. He is my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me.
Steadfast Love: goodness of God, lovingkindness
Micah 7:18-19
Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes over the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance—who does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in Loving Devotion?
He will again have compassion on us; He will vanquish our iniquities. You will cast out all our sins into the depths of the sea.
This is my God. The God Who forgives sins and forgets sins.
Isaiah 43:25
I, yes I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake and remembers your sins no more.
Hebrews 8:12
For I will forgive their iniquities and will remember their sins no more.
The LORD Is My Steadfast Love.

 JEHOVAH GAAL
The LORD Redeemer
Isaiah 48:17
Thus says the LORD your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, who teaches you for your benefit, who directs you in the way you should go."
Psalm 32:8
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you [who are willing to learn] with My eye upon you.
Psalm 73:2
You guide me with Your counsel, and later receive me in glory.

ELOHIM MACHSEH OZE
God Is Our Refuge & Strength
Psalm 46:1
For the choirmaster.
Of the sons of Korah.
According to Alamoth.
A song.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.
Deuteronomy 4:7
For what nation is great enough to have a god as near to them as the LORD our God is to us whenever we call on Him?
Psalm 32:6
Therefore let all the godly pray to You while You may be found. Surely when great waters rise, they will not come near.

EL YAAQOB

THE GOD OF JACOB

Happy is he that has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God, the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He remains faithful forever.

Psalm 71:5
For you, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, O LORD, from my youth.
