Thanks Be To God - - For His Healing Wings

Malachi 4:2
But unto you that fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

*Strong's Ex. Conc. No. 4832
Healing: cure, health, curative, remedy, tranquil, sound
From the Hebrew word 'marpe' (pronounced mar-pay')

THE SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
Psalm 84:11
For the LORD God is a Sun and a shield; the LORD gives grace and glory; He withholds no good thing from those who walk with integrity.
Isaiah 60:1, 2
1. Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
2. For behold, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness is over the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you, and His glory will appear over you.
Isaiah 9:2
The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death, a light has dawned.
Matthew 4:16
The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.
John 1:4
In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.
John 8:12
Once again, Jesus spoke to the people and said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”
John 12:46
I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in Me should remain in darkness.

HEALING IN HIS WINGS
Isaiah 53:5
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.
1 Peter 2:24
He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. "By His stripes you are healed."
Jeremiah 17:14
Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for You are my praise.
John 12:32-35
32. "And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw everyone to Myself."
33. He said this to indicate the kind of death He was going to die.
34. The crowd replied, “We have heard from the Law that the Christ will remain forever. So how can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?”
35. Then Jesus told them, “For a little while longer, the Light will be among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.
36. While you have the Light, believe in the Light, so that you may become sons of light.” After Jesus had spoken these things, He went away and was hidden from them.
Isaiah 11:10
On that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples. The nations will seek Him, and His place of rest will be glorious.

In much the same way as the dawn breaks across the horizon, shooing away the pre-dawn darkness of the night skies, so, too, does Jesus Christ The Sun of Righteousness. His Light shines forth upon every soul and into every heart which believes on His name and receives His grace.
First, His Light shined while He ministered to the peoples He came into contact with. When He was crucified, His Light was lifted up for all the world to see. The cross which He was nailed to had to be lifted up by others, for He could not lift Himself up, as He had both hands and feet nailed to it.
The Light of the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ seemed to dim, but appearances can be deceiving. For His Light shone in death and the grave, piercing that darkness, as well. When God rolled the stone away from the tomb's entrance, The Light walked out of the grave a changed Man, a changed Son. He was unrecognizable yet again. Even to those closest to Him.
John 20:14, 15
14. When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there; but she did not recognize that it was Jesus.
15. Woman, why are you weeping?” Jesus asked. “Whom are you seeking?” Thinking He was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried Him off, tell me where you have put Him, and I will get Him.”
Until He spoke her name.
John 20:16
Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to Him in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).
Until He showed His hands and His feet.
John 20:24-29 tells us the story of Thomas, who refused to believe that Jesus had risen until he saw the nail marks in His hands.
Until He had a meal with some of them.
Luke 24:30, 31
30. While He was reclining at the table with them, He took bread, spoke a blessing and broke it, and gave it to them.
31. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Jesus—and He disappeared from their sight.
Until He calls our name we can neither see Him nor know Him. Until we let Him into our hearts to dine with us, we cannot converse with Him.
Revelation 3:2o
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me.
He's calling your name just like He called mine. Turn your hearts to His voice and answer His call on your life. Let His Light shine in your hearts today, while you have a today. Tomorrow is not promised, but if the sun should rise on a new day, we must be prepared for it.
Today is a good day to believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to repent of our sins and receive God's forgiveness, to ask Him to take up residence in our hearts, to fill us with His Holy Spirit for our empowerment as His sons and daughters.
Today is a good day to let the Sun of Righteousness bring healing, deliverance and salvation into your hearts and your lives.

Dear God,
My heavenly Father, my Father who provides for my every need; my Father who saw my need for a Savior, because You knew I could not save myself, nor ever make myself clean enough to be near You.
Thank You for sending Your Son to die in my place. Thank You for such lovingkindness which You have shown me. Thank You for calling my name, for knocking on the door of my heart, and for choosing to live in me.
Thank You, Father, that the Light of Your Word is imprinted on my heart, changing me from a destructive course to a life that is filled with Your Word, Your purpose, and Your Love. Help me to shine Your Light and not mine into the darkness that is growing around me.
Find me faithful.
In Jesus' Glorious Name, I pray,
Amen

TeHillah

I wrote this three years past. Though it is called “The Healing Song”, it has a subtitle, too; I call it “Kaley’s Song”. The Lord laid her on my mind one morning and this is what I was given.

Everyone goes through something, sometime. Some of us hike hills and cross valleys; some mountain climb, some cliff dive. Some paddle rapids, while others doggie-paddle, just barely keeping their heads above water. Some paths are narrower in places, some paths are foot-beaten, where others have walked before.

As the man at Solomon’s Porch said, in John 5:1-18, “Every time the angel troubles the water, someone gets there before I do.” But The Healer was speaking with this man. And The Healer healed him. His path intersected with Jesus’ path; his life was changed for ever. God is God and though He Himself does not change, He is One Who changes everything.

The word TeHillah means “laud, hymn”. Jeremiah 17:14, the word praise is rendered from the Hebrew word TeHillah: Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for Thou art my praise. Deuteronomy 10:21 He Is Thy Praise, and He Is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things which thine eyes have seen. Again, Praise here is TeHillah.

We who fear The LORD sing to The LORD. We sing praises, thanksgiving, love, hope, faith. We glorify our God with the songs of our hearts. Because we are one in Christ, we sing in harmony and not discord. Christ is our Song.

I am healed in Jesus’ Name
I am healed from my pain
From the top of my head
to the soles of my feet
I am healed, I am healed
in Jesus’ Name.
From the top of my head
to the soles of my feet
I am healed, I am healed
in Jesus’ Name.
I am healed in Jesus’ Name
I am healed from my pain
No more needles, no more pricks
No more diabetes, I’m not sick!
From the top of my head
to the soles of my feet
I am healed, I am healed
in Jesus’ Name!
In my mind, in my heart
God is working every part
From the top of my head
to the soles of my feet
I am healed, I am healed
in Jesus’ Name!
All my praise for His glory
Sings my heart a brand new song
I can fly I can dance
So fast I spin with open hands
In my heart there lives a Man
His Name is Jesus, Jesus Christ.
I am healed, I am healed
In Jesus’ Name --
In Jesus’ Name is all power!
In Jesus’’ Name is all time
A thousand years is but a day
And from the grave I’ve been raised
I am healed in Jesus’ Name
I am healed from my pain
No more sorrow no more tears
No more pleading nights no fears
All my loved ones, my enemies, too
Have been healed, Through and through
Inside out, no more upside down
A new heart, a new life
They see Jesus in a New Light.
I am healed in Jesus’ Name!
I am healed from my pain
From the top of my head
to the soles of my feet
I am healed! I am healed!
in Jesus’ Name!
All my praise for His glory
Sings my heart a brand new song
I can fly I can dance
So fast I twirl with open hands
In my heart there lives a Man
His Name is Jesus, Jesus Christ.
Lord and Savior of my life!
He called my name like none before
And I saw myself laid on the floor
A tinkling bell began to ring
And with surprise I heard me sign:
All Hail The King
Th e King of Kings
Hail King Jesus
Of You I sing
Though You slay me
I am Yours
You choose to heal me
O My Lord
For this I sing:
You are my Praise!
I am healed, I am healed
In Jesus’ Name!
From the top of my head
to the soles of my feet
I am healed I am healed
In Jesus’ Name.

IAM HAS HEALED ME IN HIS NAME!

So, this song is for everyone who is hurting, whether in body or mind, your Healer is ready to heal you. All you have to do is cry out to Jesus and reach for His hand.

The Healing Song-TeHillah

This song I wrote this morning, when The Lord Our God woke me up and brought me outside. At first I thought it was just for my healing, but I know people who go through different challenges than I do.
My friend Kaley is 5 years old and is Type 1 Diabetes. She was given the phrase "I am healed from the top of my head to the sole of my feet", perhaps when she heard another say it; but she claimed it for herself. I have several friends who suffer from either Type 1 or Typ2 Diabetes. Friends of mine have gone, are going or will go through some form of chemo after being diagnosed with various cancers. Some friends received their perfect healing when they saw Jesus as they lay dying. Some of my friend have OA, Fm, Alopecia, CRPS, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and Autism. Sometimes an illness can be undiagnosed for years before the knowledge to recognize it and begin to cure it is given to us.
Some of us hike up hills and cross valleys; some hike mountains and dive off cliffs. Some paddle rapids and some doggie-paddle, just barely keeping their heads above water. Some paths are narrower in places, some paths are footbeaten, where others have walked before. As the man at Solomon's Porch said, in John 5:1-18 "Every time the angel troubles the water, someone gets there before I do." But The Healer was speaking with this man. And The Healer healed him. His path intersected with Jesus' path; his life was changed forever. God is God and though He Himself does not change, He is One Who changes everything. Come. Come near the water and meet The Healer.

THE HEALING SONG
TeHillah

I am healed          in Jesus' Name
I am healed         from my pain
From the top of my head
to the sole of my feet
I am healed, I am healed
In Jesus' Name.

In my mind         in my heart
God is working         on every part
I can see         I can run
I am here         in Jesus' Name.

From the top of my head
to the sole of my feet
I am healed, I am healed
In Jesus' Name.

I am healed         in Jesus' Name
I am healed         from my pain
No more needles        no more pricks
No more diabetes          I'm not sick
From the top of my head
to the sole of my feet
I am healed, I am healed
In Jesus' Name!

In my mind         in my heart
God is working         on every part
From the top of my head
to the soles of my feet
I am healed, I am healed
In Jesus' Name!

All my praise          For His glory
Sings my heart         a brand new song
I can fly         I can dance
So fast I spin          with open hands
In my heart there lives a Man
His Name is Jesus. Jesus Christ.

I am healed, I am healed
In Jesus' Name--
In Jesus' Name is all power!
In Jesus' Name is all time
A thousand years is but a day
And from the grave I've been raised
I am healed in Jesus' Name
I am healed from my pain
No more sorrow          no more tears
Nor more pleading nights          no fears
All my loved ones, my enemies, too
Have been healed, Through and through
Inside out, no more upside down
A new heart          A new life
They see Jesus        in a New Light.

I am healed         in Jesus' Name!
I am healed          from my pain
From the top of my head
to the soles of my feet
I am healed! I am healed!

All my praise         for His glory
Sings my heart         a brand new song

The Generation of The Lord

The Generation of the Lord

  • A chosen generation: 1 Peter 2:9
  • Who shall declare His generation? : Isaiah 53:8 & Acts 8:33
  • His mercy is on them that fear Him from generation to generation: Luke 1:50
  • Generation of light: Luke 11:29-36 & Luke 16:8
  • God is in the generation of the righteous: Psalm 14:5
  • A generation of service by the will of God: Acts 13:36
  • Generation that fears the Lord: Psalm 22:23-31
  • Generation that is accounted to the Lord: Psalm 22:30
  • The generation that seeks Him, seeks His face: Psalm 24:6
  • We are the generation to come: Psalm 78:4, 6

~The word given me while praying after I read the Book of Ezra:
There is one generation and it is the generation of them who seek the Lord. Who seek Him, His laws and His statutes; that the Word of the Lord would be known and taught to those who do not know Him.
It is the generation of those who love the Lord; who love His Word and seek to do His will accordingly. We are that generation.
Not chronological, a generation of years; but spiritual, a generation of belief. Not calculated by time, but by faith: faith in the power of the Word of God.
It is the generation of them who seek His face; who desire to be in his presence. It is the generation of they who desire to obey His Word; who have counted the cost and are willing to pay it.
It is the generation of repentant hearts; those who humble themselves before God.
It is the generation of submission and surrender: submitting to God's Word and surrendering to God's will. For God is holy and nothing unholy can be in His presence. Darkness flees; for the light of God's glory fills our hearts and our minds. We submit our hearts to obedience, we obey His Word. We surrender our will and our desire to His will and His desire. Why? Because we are the generation of them who seek His face. ~

And, as I study after receiving this, I am made aware that this generation began in the beginning and will not cease until the end. It is the generation of believers in the Almighty God, who created the heavens and the earth in six days. He Who wrote the laws and desires our obedience in love.
This generation is a righteous generation, not of ourselves, but of the righteousness of Christ which is upon us. We wear Him like armor. We clothe ourselves in Him, for Christ is our Righteousness.
We are the generation that fear Him: revere and respect Him. He is Faithful and True; Redeemer and Friend. His love for His people shines through us: our eyes see Him and magnify Him to nations who do not know Him. We are the light that shines in the darkness: declaring the Word of the Lord to those who are hungry to hear and receive it.
This generation is a generation of servitude, not only to God and for God, but to God's people for God's glory. We do not seek to raise ourselves up, but to raise up the name of Jesus Christ, that the salvation of the Lord is at hand and reaching out to all. We praise the name of the Lord for He is gracious and slow to anger, longsuffering and merciful to those who call on His name. This generation works in the field of the Lord. His servants are few, but the work is great. Our hands are busy doing what needs to be done; our hearts are busy, seeking the salvation of the lost souls, in constant prayer for them.
We are the generation that loves with the love of the Lord. It is a love that transcends time and space. This love, the love of the Lord Jesus Christ, is for all people. With a love that shows mercy to all, regardless of ethnicity or generation of life. It is a love that forgives and forgives and forgives without number. God is righteous and just; His mercy endures forever. We exhibit that mercy; we forgive without number; we love without prejudice.
This generation is the Lord's generation. We are accounted to Him and accountable to Him. We are of Abraham's seed: we believe that what God says He will do He does. We believe God's Word is holy. We believe God's Word is true. We believe God's Word is faithful: time and time again He has proven just how much He loves us. This generation multiplies to the number of the stars and the sands of the sea shore (Genesis 22:17).
We are the chosen generation. We are called out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9); to shine forth the Light of Christ. He designates us a royal priesthood: serving Him in His house, breaking bread with His people, worshiping wholeheartedly and with great joy. Praying for the needs of His people and the salvation of the lost souls.
As His chosen generation, we are a holy nation. And as such, we are to live a life of abstinence from lust (v. 11), speak honestly (v. 12), submit to the laws of the land (v. 13,14) for the Lord's sake. Living freely in God's service (v. 16). Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king (authority) (v. 17).
This generation is called to suffer (18-25). With Christ as our example, this generation is to be obedient unto God by following Jesus' attitude when it came to being obedient unto death (1 Corinthians 4:10-14; 2 Corinthians 1:5; Philippians 1:5). Happy is the generation that partakes of the sufferings of Christ (1 Peter 4:13, 14). Blessed are the persecuted for His sake: great is their reward (Matthew 5:10-12). The entire chapter of 1 Peter 4 emphasizes what has been laid out in this message: in order to be named in this generation, the generation of the Lord, we are to live the life Christ lived: follow in His way and obey His Word, choosing to suffer for His sake and reaping the glory which God will reveal in His time.
We are a generation of prophets, teachers, evangelists, preachers, apostles;miracle-workers, healers, governments, tongues and interpreters, helpers (1 Corinthians 12:28). We are a generation of servant leaders. We follow Jesus Christ and we lead people to Christ, which makes us both followers and leaders. This is my generation.

Seasons

I realize that in this blog there are quite a few days
where I have said nothing at all. I had a mental breakdown.
Do you know how hard it is to say that? It is an admission
of helplessness. Doctors couldn't diagnose me correctly.
Doctor after doctor referred me to psychiatrists
because they thought I was crazy or depressed.
Though depression attacks me now and then,
I do not live in a state of depression.
A mental breakdown used to be called a nervous breakdown.
Either is appropriate.
I was also told to do my own research.
The internet is the 'information highway'.
It is also the 'misinformation highway'.

In order to find the right pages,
you need the right doctor.
So I called on Dr. Jesus,
and He sent His Holy Spirit
to guide me in all my ways.

I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.
I have been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis.
So, I am learning to live with pain.
I adapt.
Doctors do not want to hear that.
I don't want to say it.
But it's true.

Why hide behind a mask of "everything's fine",
when it really isn't?

Here I sit, at my little desk,
in my comfy chair and foot rest,
sharing my life and my heart with
whoever chooses to listen.

Some days there will be many posts.
And some days there might be nothing at all.
Seasons of life. Seasons of hope.
Seasons of pain. Seasons of joy.

This is my season of sharing.
May you be blessed.

The Color of Worship - Yellow

Now, I am not just posting old studies, I am re-studying previous sharings. So, if I can give myself a break and have a little bit of patience, so can you.

We are smiling faces when the sun is shining and grumpy faces when it does not. Sunshine, light, bright colors tend to make us happier. Whereas, dark colors, gloomy days and dimness tend to instill moodiness in us and dark thoughts, even.

We are drawn to the light, the newness of day, the freshness of life. We love babies and shun the sick. We enjoy the sound of children playing. Music fills our hearts and we unwind our thoughts and our bodies as we become a more joyful person.

Joy comes in the morning. But what is morning, when all your days appear the same? What is joy when pain engulfs your body 24/7? Where is the music, the laughter, the hope?

Where is the healing touch of Christ, when just the touch of fabric is too much to bear on one's skin? Where do I go, when I need to be healed? Where else but to the Lord? To the Word of God.

Revelation 22:2 In the midst of the street of it (see verse 1), and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. This tree of life is ever bearing, ever fresh, ever new. Spring is forever in this tree. And it's leaves are for the HEALING of the nations.

In the springtime, when all the trees are budding, a newness of life is ready to begin. The leaves unfurl and reveal a light yellowish color. The sunlight shines down upon the leaves and the yellow becomes green or gold or red, depending on the species of tree which it is. And, as bright as the sun which shines down upon us is, it does not compare to the glory of God which lights up the whole new heavens. We shine because God shines. (verse 5)

Revelation 2:7 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. There it is again: the tree of life. And, we get to eat of it. Some of that fruit is for us. Healing fruit.

We eat some healing fruit now. Bananas become potassium in our bodies when we eat them. Golden Delicious apples really are. Phytochemicals are found in the yellow veggies and fruits we love to eat. Phytochemicals prevent heart disease and cancer, while helping our bodies to fend off even the common cold. The specific fruits and vegetables which enhance our immune system and increase our mental abilities are in this category, also. No longer is it just "an apple a day", we need to eat at least 5. And because we get bored easily, even in the kitchen/pantry, let's vary our intake of the color yellow. Pumpkins, squash, bananas, oranges, apricots, nectarines, grapefruit, mangos, papayas; sweet potatoes, potatoes, grapes, raisins, peaches, cantaloupes, watermelon, and onions, to name a few.

I have been reading a wonderful book "Meals that Heal" by Lisa Turner. http://www.amazon.com/Meals-That-Heal-Nutraceutical-Approach/dp/0892816252 It is more informative and fun to learn from than any health class I ever took. I think Anatomy and Physiology should be taught us at a much younger age, say like toddler stage. We already teach our children what to eat and when, but we have never told them why. It is the why that drives us crazy and sends us looking for answers, anyway. "You need to eat your peas." "Why?" "Because they're good for you?" "Why?" Because I said so is not a reason, it's an excuse.

The Tree of Life, however, in the paradise of God, gives eternal healing. A healing not only of the body of Christ, but of the soul, the mind, the spirit. We worship God in "spirit and in truth". If our spirit is sick, our worship is sick. Deuteronomy says to "love the Lord thy God with all your heart, your soul, your mind". If the heart of the body of Christ is sick, the worship of God falters and wains. Wisdom, in Proverbs 3:18, is referred to as "a tree of life". I want that Wisdom. God says I am happy if I keep this wisdom: She is a tree of life to them that lay hold on her: and happy is everyone that retains her. See, if your lawyer is on retainer, that means that your lawyer is always available to serve you. So, by that same reasoning, if wisdom is retained, wisdom is always available to serve you and aid you. I want that Wisdom. I want that Healing. I am healed. In Jesus Name.

My mind is healed. My body is healed. My spirit is healed, My heart is healed.
