Justified By Faith

Galatians 3:8, 9

And The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles (any non-Jew) by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, "In you all the nations shall be blessed."
So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

WALKING IN THE FOOTSTEPS of FAITH
Romans 4:11, 12
And he received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. So then, he is the father of all who believe but are not circumcised, in order that righteousness might be credited to them.
And he is also the father of the circumcised who not only are circumcised, but who also walk in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.
It is the heart that needs circumcision. The unbelieving heart is uncircumcised: its intents are hidden in darkness. But when the circumcision from God comes on the heart of the person who believes by faith in The Son of God, then Light opens up the heart and Love comes to live there, the Love of God which is written on our hearts by The Power of The Holy Spirit of God.
Circumcision is painful and bloody. Being a woman this is a physical pain I do not know personally, but have heard the cry of the newborn when it happens to them. So, too, the newly born in Christ have circumcised hearts. The blood from The Lamb of God, which was shed for us, is sprinkled across our hearts, washing away our sins and breaking the chains of sin which had bound us.
No longer do we walk in the darkness of our hearts: we are born anew, born again, into the family of God: we are His sons and His daughters--we walk in newness of life. The New and Living Way of Life in Christ is ours now.
JUSTIFIED BY FAITH
Romans 3:29, 30
Is God The God of Jews only? Is He not The God of Gentiles, too? Yes, of Gentiles too, since there is only one God, Who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.
Galatians 2:16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Romans 9:8
That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

It is faith in the promise of God which is saving faith. For Christ is the fulfillment of the promise made to Abraham. The promise: Genesis 17:19 "But God replied, “Your wife Sarah will indeed bear you a son, and you are to name him Isaac. I will establish My covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his seed after him.”
The promise is to the seed of Abraham, not the children. For the seed of Abraham are the people who believe God and obey/follow His Word. Many are they which say they believe in God, but few are they who say they believe God. For we who know God exists also know that God's Word is Faithful (unchanging) and True (genuine, sincere). Abraham was given the promise from God and believed it. Those who follow Abraham but not God are not the seed of Abraham, though they may be his descendants.
It is the same when we come to Jesus. We have acknowledged that Jesus Christ is Lord. We believe that He died on the cross and rose from the dead. We confess our belief in public and are baptized into God's Name, Christ's Name, and The Holy Spirit's Name. We are children of the promise, for we came by way of faith.
Children of the curse are outside the promise. It is a hard fact for many to swallow, but only because they refuse to believe God and His Word. It is only when a person born under the curse of sin accepts by faith Jesus Christ as God's Only Begotten Son that the curse is lifted and the promise is given. And we have all been born under the curse of sin because we are all Adam's descendants.
Sin came when Adam didn't listen to God. That's rebellion. That's outside the promise because the promise is given by God and Adam didn't listen to God. Not listening to God is not believing God. Not believing God is not believing God's Word.        Not believing God and His Word puts a person outside the promise of redemption through Jesus Christ. For Christ is God's Word wrapped in flesh. (Luke 1:35; John 1:14). And He is God's Servant through His obedience in saying what God wanted Him to say and doing what God wanted Him to do. (John 7:16; 8:28; 12:49; 14:10). Jesus is God's Only Begotten Son. (John 3:16; Romans 8:32; Galatians 4:4, 5; 1 John 4:14).
But when a sinner (one born under the curse) believes and receives Christ Jesus as Lord [of their lives] and Savior [of their souls], then we are no longer cursed but now we are saved! We have been born again. How awesome is that? How wonderful that God would send His Only Begotten Son to save such wretches as we are. Children born outside the promise but able to receive it because we believe it.
While only a small percentage of my dna reveals that I am a descendant of Abraham, it is not that which brings me into God's family. It is my faith in Christ Jesus and believing that He is Who God says He is that saves me. John 1:12, 13 "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."

Have Faith

Galatians 3:6, 7
So, also, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."
Understand, then, that those who have faith are sons of Abraham."

Genesis 15:6
Abram believed The LORD, and it was credited to him as righteousness.
Romans 4:3
For what does The Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
Romans 4:16
Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all.
KEEP THE FAITH
Abraham believed God. He took Him at His Word and in doing so obtained the righteousness of God by placing his trust in God. Unwavering faith.
The people who have that kind of faith are sons of Abraham. Believe God -- and His Word -- and we, too, will have obtained the righteousness of Christ, for He is The Living Word of God.
THE KEYS of DEATH & HELL
There's no other way, no other religion, wherein their gods have died and risen from the dead. For in His death Christ conquered sin, obtaining the key of death.
Having died with sin on His shoulders, He entered hell, fought Satan and won, obtaining the key of hell.
Rising from the dead and walking out of the grave in a new, resurrected body, He became The Firstfruits of the resurrection.
Now Jesus Christ holds all three keys in His hand- Revelation 1:18 "I Am He that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I Am Alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."
NEW LIFE IN CHRIST
1 Corinthians 15:20-23
But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, The Firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.
For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
Acts 2:24
But God raised Him from the dead, releasing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep Him in its grip.
Colossians 1:18
And He is The Head of The Body, the church; He is The Beginning and Firstborn from among the dead, so that in all things He may have preeminence.
John 11:25
Jesus said to her, “I Am The Resurrection and The Life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies."

Do you believe God? It is not enough to believe in God, for everyone believes in one god or another, one must also BELIEVE GOD and HIS LIVING WORD. Oh, seeker! Come to Jesus and LIVE!

Keep The Faith In The Land of The Living

Psalm 27:13
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of The LORD in the land of the living.

DON'T LOSE HEART
Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon The LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

KEEP THE FAITH
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in The Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

THE LAND OF THE LIVING
Psalm 116:9
I will walk before The LORD in the land of the living. (this life we have now)
John 8:12
Once again, Jesus spoke to the people and said, “I Am The Light of The World. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the Light of Life.” (the life eternal)

Keeping the faith means that we believe The Word of God to be Faithful and True. We believe that Jesus Christ is God's Only Begotten Son. We believe that as The Son of God He gave His life in willing obedience to His heavenly Father's design for the salvation of they who would believe such.
John 3:16-18
16. For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting Life.
17. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
18. He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in The Name of The Only Begotten Son of God.
Keeping the faith means that even though we live among unbelievers, we live not like them any longer. Though we once were sinners, lost and undone, now that we have placed our faith, our hope, in Christ Jesus for our salvation, we no longer live according to the desires of the flesh: we live according to The Word of God.
Ephesians 5:8
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in The Lord. Walk as children of Light.
Psalm 107:14
He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and broke away their chains.
Acts 26:18
'To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to Light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Me.'
Yet, keeping the faith in the land of the living isn't going to be easy. While there are times we may enjoy the comforts of this life -- water, food, clothing, shelter -- many times we will endure trials and tribulations not uncommon amongst God's people.
The life of the Christian is one of obedience to God, hope in Jesus Christ, and faith-walking with The Holy Spirit. It is a life lived in trust, trusting that God will always be with us regardless of how bad our circumstances become.     Keeping our faith while we live this life we have been given in Christ will bring us to the land of the eternally living: the heavenly places where God dwells.
Revelation 21:3
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Isaiah 6:1-4 (Isaiah's vision)
1. In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also The Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple.
2. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he did fly.
3. And one cried unto another, and said, "Holy, holy, holy, is The LORD of Hosts: the whole earth is full of His glory."
4. At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook, and the temple was filled with smoke.
Ezekiel 1 (Ezekiel's vision)
Revelation 4 (John's vision)
Someday soon we who have believed on The Name of The Only Begotten Son of God for our salvation will arrive in God's eternal dwellingplace and take up residence in the place which Christ has prepared for us. The reward is worth the journey, regardless of how long it took us to get there, or how difficult the path was to walk.
