Names of God - Jehovah-Or - The Lord Is My Light

JEHOVAH-OR
(pronounced yah-veh ohr)
THE LORD IS MY LIGHT

    Psalm 27:1
A Psalm of David. The LORD is My Light and My Salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is The Strength of My Life; of whom shall I be afraid?

My Light. Mine. Personal pronouns indicating what belongs to me. God is a personal God. He longs to belong to you and I, as He belongs to David here in Psalm 27:1.
    Psalm 27:8
When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD, I will seek.”
    Jeremiah 29:13
You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
    Isaiah 55:6
Seek The LORD while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.
God is calling each of us even now. For The Word of God is Living and active. Even yet, He calls us to Him, to His side:
    "COME TO ME"
And hear Me that your soul may live - Isaiah 55:3
All you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest - Matthew 11:28
Come because God has called you - John 6:44
Come to Jesus - John 6:37
Let the children come to Me - Luke 18:16
And never be [spiritually] hungry again - John 6:35 (cf. Psalm 107:9)
And drink [believe] - John 7:37
Listen and live - Isaiah 55:1-3
Can you hear God calling you? Even now God is calling you to something in Him. For some of us, God is calling you to salvation. For some of us, God is calling you to a closer walk with Him. In this life we can never get close enough to God that He would ever stop calling us.
    MY LIGHT
    2 Samuel 22:9
For You, O LORD, are My Lamp; The LORD Lights up my darkness.
    Isaiah 9:2
The people walking in darkness have seen a Great Light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death, a Light has dawned.
And this Great Light is Jesus Christ.
    John 1:4, 5
In Him was Life, and that Life was The Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome It.
    John 8:12
Once again, Jesus spoke to the people and said, “I Am The Light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in the darkness, but will have The Light of Life.”
Therefore, because I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, I can say, "The LORD is My Light." Jesus lives in me by faith and I live in Him by  promise. My Light. Never again will I live in the darkness of this world. Never again will I bend with the wind, nor will I sink into the miry clay from which I have been lifted out.
Can you say this, too? and mean it?
