JEHOVAH ELOHIM TSABA

So, when I finished reading Jude, there was a cross-reference in verse 23 that took me to Amos 4:11, where I was compelled by the Holy Spirit to read through the end of Amos. And that's when this Name of Christ grabbed my attention.

JEHOVAH ELOHIM TSABA

THE LORD, THE GOD OF HOSTS

Amos 4:13

"For, behold, He Who forms the mountains,

Who creates the wind,

and reveals His thoughts to man,

the One Who turns the dawn to darkness,

and strides on the 

heights of the earth,

The LORD,

The GOD of Hosts Is His Name."

And I talked to The Spirit about how we were going to render this name pictorially. He reminded me that God's warriors are "flaming ministers". That's why each flame carries a sword.

PSALM 145:18

The LORD Is Near to all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.

In the Bible Emerald green is used to describe the rainbow around God's throne. It indicates a deeper place of worship, a closer connectiveness to our God, our Creator.

Beryl, or a lighter shade of green, is indicative of new growth, new life; specifically, new life in Christ, through our belief on Him as Savior and Redeemer. It is through our faith in Christ, living in Him and He living in us, that makes it possible for us to draw close to God, Who, as He proclaims in this verse, Is Near to all of us who call upon Him; and not just so, but all who call on Him in truth, which means to call on Him faithfully and in faithfulness. 

The vines in this picture remind us that He is the Vine and we are the branches. Through His blood and our faith in His sacrifice and His resurrection, we are now in Him and He is in us.

The old life we lived before we came to saving grace through Christ's atonement is dead on the cross.

The new life we live after receiving God's grace takes us out of the grave and into the life of ministry which God has prepared for us. 

God Is Near. He is just a breath away.

Seeing Jesus In The Garden

I miss being in the garden. That was my prayer place. The garden is where I met with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; we communed in the garden: friend with Friend, Redeemer with redeemed. 

But, even Jesus didn't stay in the garden. There was work to be done. First, He revealed Himself to Mary. He called her by her name and she immediately knew it was Him. Not until He called her, though, did she recognize her Teacher. (Read John 20:14-16)

In the garden is the recognition of new life in Christ, for there He was found a little ways apart from the open tomb. There was no need to be anywhere near the empty grave, for He had overcome not only it, but death and hell, as well. Now, though He holds the keys to all three of them, He is forever separated from them, just as He was in the garden. 

We know He was not standing near it, for they did not see Him. He was assumed to be the gardener. Truly, He is The Gardener. Yet, at that day He was again unrecognizable, for until we hear Him call our name and we turn to see His face, we will not recognize Christ either. 

If you have not yet met Jesus in the garden, I encourage you to make your way there. On the cross He washed away our sins. In the darkness of the grave, with our sins upon Him, He was in hell fighting and defeating the devil. When that was accomplished, God rolled away the stone so His Son could walk out into the garden and then onto the road and into the city. His work was just about done and soon He would be going home. (John 20:17)

To day is the day for you to enter the garden seeking Jesus, expecting to meet Him, but not according to your agenda: according to His. Search the garden until you find Him. And when you do, rejoice! For He who took your sins away at the cross, has defeated death, hell and the grave for you, too. 

How can you not believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, when you have all this evidence before you?

We Know The Love of God

THE LORD IS GOOD

Psalm 145:9 & Nahum 1:7

The LORD Is Good to all: 

And His tender mercies are over all His works.

The LORD Is Good, a strong hold in the day of trouble;

And He knows them that trust Him.

Which brings us to 2 Timothy 2:19 - Nevertheless (Paul refuting false doctrine in the church), God's firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: "The LORD knows them that are His" and "Everyone who calls on the name of The LORD must turn away from iniquity". 

We simply cannot, nor must we continue to indulge in, iniquitous actions once we have called on The LORD's name for our salvation. Yes, God Is Good to all, even more so to all who call on His name to save them and trust in Him for their salvation. 

If you have not made a decision to give your heart and life to Christ, today is that day.

We Live In God's Love

1 JOHN 4:17

In this way. This verse is connected to the previous verse by these three words "in this way". What way? The Way of Divine Love. 
As I study it out, I realize that by using the concordance the verse reads:

In this way, Divine Love has been made complete, consummated, perfected, among us (beyond time and distance), that we may possess boldness, assurance at the day of judgment (the time in which God metes out justice in His court); for in this world we are just like Him. 

There is another verse that totally lines up with this train of thought: 
Acts 17:28 In Him we live, and move, and have our being. As some of your own poets have said, we are His offspring. 
And again in John 17:22-23 when Jesus was praying with His Father just before He was arrested: 
"I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are One--I in them, and You in Me--that they may be perfectly united, so that the world may know that You sent Me and have loved them just as You have loved Me."

Isn't that beautiful? When we live in God's love, we are living and moving and breathing in Christ as He lives and moves and breathes in us. That's powerful stuff right there. I am so glad that I live in His love and that His love lives in me.
