The Fear of The Lord Is -Part 7- A Fountain of Life

 Proverbs 14:27
The fear of The LORD is a Fountain of Life, to depart from the snares of death.
Proverbs 13:14
The Law of the wise is a Fountain of Life, to depart from the snares of death.

    John 7:38
He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of Living Water.
In His discourse with the Samaritan woman at the well, Jesus declares that believing in Him will cause spiritual vitality (life) to rise up within and overflow without. What is received by the heart, will be implanted in the heart by The Holy Spirit [Ezekiel 36:27; Ezekiel 37:14]. And it will cause us to open our mouths and hasten our feet that others may hear this wonderful Word of Life which we have received.
This Word of Life [Philippians 2:16; 1 John 4:1-3] is Christ within us. He is The Life Eternal as promised by The Father. He is The Fountain of Life, of Living Waters; water which does not stagnate, nor decay, but is everflowing in the hearts of the born again Christian.
This Fountain of Life is Strength to the one who carries it within them. But we do not keep it locked up: we share this Water of Life with everyone we meet and everywhere we may go. And we can only obtain it when we have the fear of The Lord actively pursuing a deeper walk with God.

This Fountain of Life also causes us to depart from (turn away from) the snares of death. Snares are unseen traps which catch us with their wily ways, ensnaring our hearts and our minds; tantalizing us with their deceits and desires.

But when we have the fear of The Lord living in us, filling us with a desire to please God and put His happiness first, then the snares will have no power over us. The Love of God living within us, Jesus Christ, and The Power of God, The Holy Spirit, working within us, will help us not to give into temptation, but pursue holiness and righteousness. It is an ongoing battle, but it is a battle that has already been won by Christ at the cross and in the garden!
When we have the fear of The Lord, we are already overcomers. 1 John 4:4 "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them (the spirits of antichrist [1 John 4:3]): because greater is He Who is in you, than he that is in the world."
    Matthew 7:13, 14
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it."
We rise up now as defenders of the faith, our faith in Christ Jesus, and speak The Word of Life over our enemies. Not the people who are coming against us, but the spirits of antichrist who are compelling people to come against us. We rebuke them in The Name of Jesus Christ and fight back with The Word of God!
Matthew 5:44 "Love your enemies. Pray for those who persecute you."
Proverbs 25:21, 22 "Feed your enemy. Render aid to them."
    Romans 12:14 "Bless your persecutors."
Matthew 25:40 "Meet the needs of the least of these."
Galatians 6:10 "Do good to everyone."
We pray for those persecute us. We pray for those who kill us. We pray for those who torment us. We pray for those who mock and ridicule us. We pray for their salvation, their deliverance, and for God's Holy Spirit to empower them in their walks with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We pray for their families to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. We pray for their governments, as we do our own, that God would have His Way in their hearts and their lives. We pray for those who are imprisoned for His Name's sake: that their needs would be met, that the bibles they are requesting would be given them, that places of baptism would be granted them, as new souls come to Christ. We pray for the wardens and the guards of these prisons, encampments, rehabilitation sites, etc.
We pray that the needs we cannot fulfill will be more than fulfilled by those who can. Though we have little, God has much. After all, He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. [Psalm 50:10]. Yet, the little we have can be multiplied in God's unchanging hands, and go farther than is humanly possible. Because nothing is impossible with God. [Job 42:2; Jeremiah 32:12; Matthew 19:26]
We speak The Word of Life into their hearing, their dreams, their visions. We speak Jesus. And we speak Life.
