Statements of Faith - Redeemed

 I AM REDEEMED

1 Peter 1:18, 19

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life you inherited from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a Lamb without blemish or spot

Isaiah 44:22
I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like a mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.

1 Peter 3:18
For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit,

God calls everyone to salvation. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for the sins of the whole world. We just need to believe that God's Word is Faithful and True. What God says comes to pass (Faithful) and that there is no error in His Word (True).
I answered this call to believe on The Name of The Lord Jesus Christ for my salvation. By faith I came to the cross and saw my God dying for me, with the weight of my sins lashed across His body. By faith I stepped into the shadow of the cross, where the blood soaked into the ground and into my heart. By faith I am redeemed: I have been bought back from the prince of this world, whose chains of sin I was bound in.
Why do we need a Redeemer? Everyone is a sinner. Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." I don't know about you but I don't want to fall short of the glory of God after I die. i want to be in His glorious presence forever and ever!  He loved me enough to die for me! How can I not embrace His redemptive grace? I am a sinner and I need the blood of Jesus Christ applied to my heart. So do you. You just need to believe that Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son and that He died for you. It's a simple faith.
A faith that is built on The Word of God, The Rock of our Salvation. A faith that is lived under the blood and in Christ, The Lamb of God Who Takes Away Sins (John 1:29). A faith that does not retreat but stands fast on the solid ground upon which it is built up. A faith that chooses to live a righteous life in Christ.
A faith that recognizes and acknowledges that God's Word is Alive and Living and calling out to all who will hear, "Come, come to the cross. Come, come and see Jesus, Who told me all about myself and then revealed that that which I was searching for is Him. Come, come and walk by faith, walk in The Spirit, with me."
I needed saving so God sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to save me, to save us. That's something to SHOUT about!

A Crucified Life - - Speaks Freely

2 Corinthians 6:11
We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians. Our hearts are open wide.

*Strong's Ex. Conc. No. 455
Speak Freely: to be or stand openly
From the Greek word 'anoigó' (pronounced an-oy'-go): speak freely, keeping nothing back.

In writing to the church in Corinth, Paul reminds them that he has shared his sufferings and his joys with them, keeping nothing from them that they might share in not only these but also in the rewards of faithfulness. As Paul had written to the church in Rome, Romans 8:17 "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together."
We who believe on the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for our salvation are the church. Not in our name but in His Name. For we are also God's children, brothers and sisters in Christ and of Christ Jesus. We obtain this inheritance of glory through the sufferings of Christ.
What one believer suffers, all believers suffer. We are not alone. We may be on different continents, live in varying cities and towns, but we are all one in Christ. What one goes through, all go through.
When one of us goes through the fire, we all go through the fire. When one of us gets slandered, we all get slandered. When one of us is persecuted for the Name of Christ, all of us are persecuted for His Name's sake.
Having been called to suffer, why do so many persist in believing that persecution is not theirs to bear? That it belongs in some remote part of the world? Technically, we are all in remote parts of the world. And as much as the internet brings many together, it also separates. It is both a blessing and a curse.
But the sharing to which Paul alludes is of a much higher sharing in of: it is the cross of Christ which brings us all to His feet, it is the Suffering Servant Who makes us joint-heirs with Him by our belief in His Name for our salvation.
It is the blood of Christ which washes away our sins, changing us from sinners guilty of eternal damnation to saints worthy of an eternal inheritance. It is the grace of God extended to a lost and dying people that redeems us back to Him, making us found and alive in Christ.
It is the mercy of God through the obedience of His only begotten Son that is shown to each and every person time after time after time. We who believe receive such salvation, grace and mercy to the everlasting benefit of our souls. Do you believe?
And now, let me speak freely. God loves us. God loves us so much He can't bear to leave us like He found us. So God changes the person who believes in His only begotten Son into a resemblance of His Son, so that when He looks at us, He sees only a reflection of His Son. He's not looking at unwashed, unglazed pottery any more. He's transformed us into a useable vessel to be of service in some form or fashion in His house.
I must ask you, Does God see Jesus in you?

Redeeming Israel

REDEEM ISRAEL
Psalm 25:22
Redeem Israel, O God, from all its distress.

Psalm 14:7
Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come from Zion! When the LORD restores His captive people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad!
Psalm 122:6-7
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you prosper. May there be peace within your walls, and prosperity inside your fortresses.”
Jeremiah 24:7
I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the LORD. They will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with all their heart.
Romans 25:26-27
I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you will not be conceited: A hardening in part has come to Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.
And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come from Zion; He will remove godlessness from Jacob."

Romans 8:10
For this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds and inscribe them on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be My people.

This covenant is JESUS CHRIST. He is the New Testament through which GOD saves all who believe on His name.

John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Romans 10:12-13
For there is no difference between Jew and Greek: The same Lord is Lord of all, and gives richly to all who call on Him, for, "Whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord will be saved."
Joel 2:32
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
Acts 2:21
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

You. Me.  It is for you and me that God sent His Son to die on the cross, taking the punishment for our sins. Jesus Christ is our Deliverer, Redeemer, Savior, Messiah, Friend.
I know my Redeemer lives. And I know His Name. Do you?

Color of Worship-Silver

 REDEMPTION, SANCTIFICATION, DELIVERANCE
Exodus 30:11-15
"11) And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, (12) When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them. (13) This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the LORD. (14) Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD. (15)The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls."

This half-shekel was silver and this silver was to be paid as an atonement for their souls. (The Tabernacle

It was blood money. While some animals were designated to be used as sacrifices for various cleansings, the silver tax on each male person that was delivered out of Egypt was once and for all. They were each able to pay it, as they had left Egypt with as much wealth as the Egyptians could give them to carry out. They were more eager to see the Israelites leave Egypt than the Israelites were eager to go. Who would want to risk more dire plagues upon themselves than this last one which took the firstborn male of every family that had not blood-washed their doorposts?

The first time this silver tax was paid, the half-shekels were melted down and formed into silver sockets, or bars, and used as the foundation for the tabernacle which was a shadow of Jesus Christ and the church. I say "and the church" because each person who comes to Christ, must first come through the blood of Christ on an INDIVIDUAL, PERSONAL responsibility.

Atonement for sin could only be given through a blood sacrifice and that sacrifice had to be paid for with Silver. And it was. Even in the New Testament. Who does not remember what Judas was paid? Thirty pieces of silver (Matthew 26:15 'they covenanted with him'), in other words for 30 shekels.

If the silver could not be paid, that person was put to death. If we do not accept God's payment of atoning power for our sins on an individual basis, we must pay the death penalty ourselves. Romans 3:10 "There is none righteous, no, not one."
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." John 3:18 "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." 1 John 5:12 "He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life."

For it is in Jesus Christ that we are redeemed by the divine blood which was shed for our sins. It is in Jesus Christ that we are made complete, whole, one. It is in Jesus Christ that we are for ever delivered from the bondages of sin.

Redeemed. Complete. Delivered.

While We Were Yet Sinners, Christ Died For Us

Romans 5:8  But God
commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus

How could any one who fully understands what happened when Christ died, ever turn their back on Him?

Once we learn who God is and why He sent His only begotten Son to die in our place, what else can a person do but give their heart back to the God who gave them His heart? Every argument you can give has  an answer in The Word of God. It is the written Word many choose to believe is real and true for every person in every walk of life. The whole world does not revolve around us nor do we revolve around the world.

God created a man and a woman and put them in charge of taking care of the garden, but He did not give them the garden. And when sin entered this world through their disobedience to the God who loved them, sin became the ruler of this world and all that is in it. Its ugly briers and snares were made to trap and wound people. Its evilness declared itself to be 'all that' and entered into the hearts of men and women who chose and still choose to turn their backs on God's Word.

Sin is disobedience to God's Holy Word in any form, whether it is to turn your back on Jesus; refuse to believe the WHOLE Word of God; not answer God's call on your life, your heart. Sin corrupts, destroys, neglects, rusts, traps, snares, attaches itself to , weaves its wicked ways into. Sin is willful deliberate transgression against divine law. Sin is an illegal or immoral decision or action taken by any person who disobeys God's Word. Any deviation from the Truth is sin.

A lie is a lie; a liar is a liar. A thief is a thief: whether you taste test that grape in the produce department, mug a person for their personal property, or break into their homes and steal their possessions. If you are entrusted to do something or take care of something, and you break that trust, you are a thief. You have stolen their trust. Nobody makes you do anything you don't want to do. Fear of retaliation will play its part in the decisions we make when we choose to do wrong, but still, it is our choice. A hard thing to say knowing how much wickedness is in this world today. I'm talking about everyday sins here. Sins that other people do when they disobey God, and that you are entangled in with them, involuntarily or against your will, are not being explained here.

People want a better life. And some will do anything, go anywhere and say anything to get it. Except the one thing they should say and do: pray to God for deliverance from sin and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives. Many think God is for the weak-minded; He has been long ignored by the intellectual, the scientist, the mathmetician, the politician, the medical professions, the teachers and professors, the parents, the students; the drug addict, the alcoholic, the meth-head, the predator, the homosexual, the psychotic, the players and the users. BUT GOD IS. And God is FOR EVERY ONE. His LOVE His MERCY His PEACE His HOPE is FOR EVERY ONE.

GOD IS. Read Romans 5:6-8 again, but read it like this:
"For when we were yet without strength, in due time CHRIST died for the ungodly. (No other religious leader [god, idol] has ever done that. EVER).
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure (possibly, perhaps by chance) for a good man some would even dare to die. (Especially on the battlefield in wartime. But if you live where violence is prevalent (daily for some), then you know that this is true).
BUT GOD commendeth (approves, sanctions, advocates) His Love toward us, in that (even though), while we were yet sinners (transgressors of the divine law, living sinful sin-filled lives), CHRIST DIED FOR US."
O God, Thank You Thank You Thank You for saving me. Without You I would be so so lost, so undone, so messed up. If it weren't for You answering my Mother's prayers, I would have faced judgment years ago and been condemned to hell and an eternity without Grace. Thank You Thank You Thank You GOD. I Am SO GLAD YOU ARE MY GOD.

Romans 5:9
"Much more then, being now justified (acquitted, defended, excused, pardoned, vindicated, absolved) by His BLOOD, we shall be SAVED (kept from danger, preserved, protected from, reclaimed, secure, salvaged) Wrath (violent indignation) through Him."
WOO-HOO! I AM SO GLAD THAT THE LORD SAVED ME!!!!!!!!!!!
Please read the rest of this chapter, as it the most marvelous thing that God could ever do for you and I. No matter who you are, where you live, how much money you make or don't make, what you wear; GOD knows what is in your heart and He wants to be there, too: in your heart. Don't wait till another day has passed; you have no guarantee you will ever see tomorrow. The day before disaster happens is just another day; its a normal day. But the day you die without God there will be no more normal days, there will be no more sunshine, no more gentle rains, no more rainbows. Any day without GOD in your life is a day without JOY, a day without PEACE, a day without HOPE, a day without mountains to climb, oceans to swim and clouds to soar through. Death without GOD present will be the worst day of your life.

But I have JOY PEACE HOPE FAITH LOVE MERCY GRACE KINDNESS EVERLASTING NOW and I will have these FOR EVER. I HAVE GOD IN MY LIFE AND MY HEART. HE IS MY GOD. And He wants to be your GOD, too.
