GRACIOUS IS THE LORD AND RIGHTEOUS
Psalm 116:5
The LORD is Gracious and Righteous; our God is full of compassion.
Exodus 34:6
Then The LORD passed in front of Moses and called out: "The LORD, The LORD God, is Compassionate and Gracious, slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion and faithfulness,"
Romans 2:4
Or do you disregard (despise, think little of) the riches of His kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God's kindness (the goodness of God) leads you to repentance?
God's Kindness
Ephesians 2:4-7
4. But because of His great love for us, God, Who is rich in mercy,
5. made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved!
6. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
7. that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Titus 3:4, 5
4. But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared,
5. He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
God's kindness to us is salvation through His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, Whose blood which was shed on the cross washes away our sins forever. He has no remembrance of them. How many people can you number who have a memory like an elephant and keep reminding you of your sins? of who you used to be? before you came to Jesus and accepted Him as your personal Lord and Savior? I don't have enough fingers to do that.
But God does not remember the sins we have repented of and been forgiven for. God knows who belongs to Him and who does not. Do you belong to Jesus?
