While this sign I made may seem humorous to some and outrageous to a few, it's actually Scriptural.
Matthew 22:1-14
The King's Banquet
See, guests had been invited by special messengers which the King had sent out, but instead of RSVP-ing, the guests declared they were too busy to attend and refused the invitations. Again the King sent out his messengers but the guests beat and killed the messengers.
Then the King invited guests who had not been invited originally and they came. They were delighted the King had noticed them and overjoyed to be asked to come to his house and dine.
They were given the proper clothes to wear and sat down to eat. But when the King made his rounds visiting with each guest, he noticed there was a man who was not properly clothed and asked him, "Friend, how did you get in to this dinner without the proper garments on?" But the man was speechless. Perhaps he did not think he would be noticed amongst what he may have considered to be a ragtag crowd.
But since he wasn't fully prepared to dine with the King, he was forcibly removed and thrown out into 'utter darkness'. He wasn't welcome to this lavish party, so he could not stay.
Many are called, but few are chosen. -- Matthew 22:14
