Zimrath is the base root of the word Zamar, which is one of the seven words of praise in Scripture, meaning 'to use musical instruments, or instrumental music', in raises and praising.
Also used in Isaiah 12:2
"Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust and not be afraid:
For the LORD JEHOVAH is my
Strength and my Song;
He also is become my Salvation."
and, again in Psalm 118:14
"The LORD is my Strength and Song,
And is become my Salvation."
Though I cannot play a musical instrument, I can appreciate the use of them. In the Bible music originated with Jubal, Lamech's son, who is the 'father of all such as handle the harp and organ' (Genesis 4:22).
