A Crucified Life - - Lives In Harmony with Christ

2 Corinthians 6:15
What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?

*Strong's Ex. Conc. No. 4857
Harmony: accord, concord, agreement
From the Greek word 'sumphónésis' (pronounced soom-fo'-nay-sis).

Jesus Christ is Lord. Belial is Satan. The two cannot and will never be in harmony. Christ overcame Satan and his machinations on the cross when He died. The pure for the impure. The perfect for the imperfect. The righteous for the unrighteous.
Jesus Christ is Bread that was broken and Wine that was poured out (1 Corinthians 11:23-25). Belial is bitter and causes everything it touches to become bitter (Revelation 8:11). Jesus Christ is Truth (John 14:6). Belial is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44).
These differences and contradictions cannot coexist.

Jesus is Lord and there is no other in a born again believer's heart and life. They who believe it is possible to live in harmony with one another's faiths are foolish, unwise. They have believed the lie because they refuse to believe the Truth.
Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Revelation 19:16). Belial is nothing; though referred to as prince he is a prince without any authority (Matthew 12:24; Ephesians 2:2). Jesus Christ is Light that requires no sun or moon to shine (John 1:5; Revelation 21:23). Belial is a dark angel disguised as light (2 Corinthians 11:14).
It is impossible for any church or Christian who truly and faithfully believes the whole Word of God to live in wickedness with the enemies of the cross of Christ. For it is the cross that makes the difference; the resurrection that makes the change.
Jesus Christ is Life (John 1:4). Belial is the bringer of death (Genesis 3; Romans 5:12). Jesus is Savior (Luke 2:11). Belial is destroyer (Revelation 9:11). Jesus Christ is Peace (Isaiah 9:6). Belial is filled with violence (Ezekiel 28:11-19). Jesus Christ is the Power of God (Romans 1:16). Belial's only power is persuasion (Genesis 3:1[Did God really say?]: he manipulates the truth to suit his own selfish desire, which is to thwart God's plan and destroy God's people.
Because the two are at odds with each other the place wherein such entropy occurs will fail and fall, whether it be heart, house, church or nation. Matthew 12:25 "Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand."
A church that aligns itself with unChristlike religions has built itself on sand. There is no true foundation, no adherence to the Words of Christ. Matthew 7:26,27.
But the church, the born again believers who have placed their faith in Christ, and have anchored themselves to the Rock, will stand firm when the storms rage against it Matthew 7:24,25.
Where is your heart? On which foundation have you built your life? Where do you stand?
