Jehovah Elohim - The Lord Is My God

JEHOVAH ELOHIM
(pronounced yah-veh el-o-heem)

The LORD Is My God

Zechariah 13:9
“And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will listen and answer them; I will say, ‘They are My people,’ And they will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’”

Malachi 3:3
And He will sit as a Refiner and Purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver. Then they will present offerings to The LORD in righteousness.
Leviticus 26:11-12
And I will make My dwelling place among you, and My soul will not despise you.
I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be My people.
Jeremiah 30:32
"And you will be My people, and I will be your God."
Isaiah 48:10
See, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.
1 Peter 1:6, 7
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in various trials so that the proven character of your faith—more precious than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 12:5-8
“My son, do not take lightly the discipline of The Lord,
and do not lose heart when He rebukes you.
For the Lord disciplines the one He loves,
and He chastises every son He receives.”
Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you do not experience discipline like everyone else, then you are illegitimate children and not true sons.
John 1:13, 14
But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God--children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God.

Everyone struggles. But not everyone struggles the same way. Some struggle physically, some struggle emotionally, some struggle spiritually. Some struggle against God, some struggle with God.
To those who struggle in this life without the power and love of God living in their hearts, without The Spirit of The Living God transforming their hearts and minds and lives into Kingdom thinking and living, why do you hesitate to believe that Jesus Christ Is LORD, that He died on the cross for you and walked out of that empty grave? Not everything can be proven, that's why it's called faith.
Faith in God through Jesus Christ is believing the improbable. Believing the improbability that God placed His own Word in a baby Who would grow up to be revealed as The only begotten Son of God, The Lamb of God Who Takes Away The Sins of The World. Believing the improbability that there is a God Who loves us that much. Believing without seeing.
Faith in God through Jesus Christ is believing the impossible can be accomplished. God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, even if we can't see where He leads us, we believe that He will never take us where we don't want to go. While we do not want to get sick or injured, nor do we want to know sorrow and grief, these things will happen because of the cursed earth on which we live.
But what if we are living a righteous and holy life in Christ? and then something bad happens? Should we stop praising God, should we stop following God, should we stop believing that God knows best? No, absolutely not. What if we are criticized for our Christianity? Mocked for our strong faith? Tortured for refusing to deny God and Jesus Christ? Still, even yet, we withstand the onslaught of torment that rises against us. We stand up and say, Jehovah Elohim--The Lord Is My God.
