Names of God - YHWH 'Asah Shamayim Erets - The Maker of Heaven and Earth

YHWH 'ASAH SHAMAYIM ERETS
(pronounced yah-way - ah sah shah-MAH-yeem eh'rets)
The Lord, The Maker of Heaven and Earth

Psalm 121:2
My Help comes from The LORD, The Maker of Heaven and Earth.

MY HELP: My Divine Intervention. My Intercessor. My Rescuer. My Savior. My Interceder. My Alliance. My Restorer of The Covenant. My Wisdom & Navigator. My Source.

THE LORD: Self-existent, Eternal

Genesis 2:4
These are the generations (the history, the account) of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that The LORD God made the earth and the heavens.
Psalm 124:8
Our help is in The Name of The LORD, The Maker of heaven and earth.

And because our help is in The Name of The LORD, we are so very much aware that our salvation is in The Name of The LORD, too. As Paul wrote in Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon The Name of The Lord shall be saved." Now we see by Scripture and the knowledge of the holy that, THE LORD IS MY SAVIOR.
[Exodus 15:2; Psalm 18:2; 27:1; 118:14; Isaiah 12:2; John 2:9; Revelation 7:10]

THE MAKER: Purposeful Creator, Industrious One, Governor, Accomplisher, Provider, Deliberate Creator, Intentional Artist

Nehemiah 9:6
You alone are The LORD. You created the heavens, the highest heavens with all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to all things, and the host of heaven worships You.
Psalm 148:1-5
Hallelujah! Praise The LORD from the heavens; praise Him in the highest places.  Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His heavenly hosts. Praise Him, O sun and moon; praise Him, all you shining stars. Praise Him, O highest heavens, and you waters above the skies. Let them praise The Name of the LORD, for He gave the command and they were created.
John 1:1-3
In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
Revelation 1:8
I am Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and The Ending, says The Lord, Who is, and Who was, and Who is to come, The Almighty.

OF HEAVEN AND EARTH: Sky above the earth, celestial bodies above the sky. Dry land, ground, country, domain, firm.

Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:6, 7
Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so.

By The Word of The LORD were the heavens and the earth created. God spoke, with His Breath, all life into existence at the time of creation during the six days He created the earth and the heavens. Psalm 33:6 "By The Word of The LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by The Breath of His mouth."
[Isaiah 45:2; Jeremiah 10:12]

Genesis 1:9, 10
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called He Seas: and God saw that it was good.
Psalm 104:6-8
You covered it with the deep like a garment; the waters stood above the mountains. At Your rebuke the waters fled; at the sound of Your thunder they hurried away—the mountains rose and the valleys sank to the place You assigned for them.

And on this earth, God created mankind, male and female, man and woman. Man God created with His Word and His Breath out of the dust, the land, of the Earth. [Genesis 2:7; Genesis 3:19; 1 Corinthians 15:47; Job 33:4; Acts 17:25; John 1:3]. Not primordial soup, neither primates nor rocks, as some would have us to believe, but by The Word of God, The Spirit of God and God Himself we are created beings. And we have a responsibility towards our Creator to return to Him and worship Him.
For we have been separated from God through our sin-nature which we have inherited from Adam and Eve, from whom all life has been generated. For when God created them, He told them to 'be fruitful and multiply'; and they did [Genesis 1:28].         But when they sinned against God, all of the lives which came from Adam and Eve were now tainted and separated from God. It wasn't just Adam and Eve who were removed from the garden in Eden: all of their children and grandchildren and so on and so forth also had to leave the garden. The nature of sin is that it taints everyone.
But how do we get back to God? How do we return to our Creator, our Maker? In the beginning of returning back to God, it was during the time of Adam and Eve's third son born after the fall--Seth--when mankind turned to God. Genesis 4:26.
Perhaps seeing the results of his brother Cain's actions--jealousy, murder and unrepentance--caused the men of Seth and his son Enosh's time to separate themselves from them and call on The Name of The Lord.
Still this call goes out: Whosoever shall call upon The Name of The Lord shall be saved. Urgently the call is given: Return to The Lord Your Maker. Repent, and believe.
Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon The Name of The Lord shall be saved.
John 20:31
But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is The Christ, The Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His Name.
John 1:12, 13
But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God—children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God.

Mere lineage cannot bring us into the presence of The Eternal Living Holy God. We must be born again through belief that Jesus Christ is God's Only Begotten Son, Who died on the cross for our sins, conquered death/hell/the grave and walked out of the tomb in which He had been laid into a glorified body, a resurrected body and is seated now at the right hand of God, interceding on behalf of His people.
We who believe are not only of the lineage of Adam and Eve, we are of the seed of Abraham, who believed God when circumstances always said otherwise. He obeyed God and journeyed to a place he'd never been before, never seen nor even heard of. He brought his son Isaac to the top of the mountain to sacrifice him as God had commanded. But God provided a different sacrifice. Abraham did not have to sacrifice his beloved son.
But God chose to sacrifice His Beloved Son, so that the sins which dragged us down to hell, the sins which separated us from God, would be broken from off of us, through the shedding of His own blood. God allowed His Word, wrapped in flesh, to be tortured, beaten and nailed to a cross: for us.
Now it is possible to return to God, for the ultimate sin-offering has been made and the veil that separated us from God's Holy presence has been torn permanently. Now, we can return to our Creator. Now, we can call on The Name of The Lord God for our salvation. Now, The Maker of Heaven and Earth is The Maker of our New Life in Christ Jesus. Now, our Maker is remaking us daily into His image in a different way than He made us in His image in the garden.
Come, let us worship and bow down before The Lord Our Maker. Let us call on His Name for our salvation. Let our repentance be real and pure, that we might remain His people. If we are truly of Christ, then we will live for Christ and die to self.

The Color of Worship - Brown

A Time of Creation and Growth
Genesis 1:9-12 And God said, “Let the waters under the sky be gathered into
one place, so that the dry land may appear.” And it was so. God called the dry land “earth,” and the gathering of waters He called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.

Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth vegetation: seed-bearing plants and fruit trees, each bearing fruit with seed according to its kind.” And it was so. The earth produced vegetation: seed-bearing plants according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

Genesis 2:7, 22
Then The LORD God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed the breath of life into his nostrils, and the man became a living being. ... And from the rib that The LORD God had taken from the man, He made a woman and brought her to him. (Genesis 1:26-28)

A Time of Repentance
Joel 1:13
Gird yourselves and lament, you priests; Wail, you who minister before the altar; Come, lie all night in sackcloth, You who minister to my God; For the grain offering and the drink offering are withheld from the house of your God.

Daniel 9:3-5
Then I set my face toward The Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. And I prayed to The LORD my God and confessed, “O, Lord, The great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant of loving devotion to those who love Him and keep His commandments, we have sinned and done wrong. We have acted wickedly and rebelled. We have turned away from Your commandments and ordinances."

Jonah 3:5-6
And the Ninevites believed God. They proclaimed a fast and dressed in sackcloth, from the greatest of them to the least. When word reached the king of Nineveh, he got up from his throne, took off his royal robe, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.

The Gem

SARDONYX is the fifth foundation of the city walls:
Revelation 21:20
...the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.

As you can see, it is reddish-brown in color and so qualifies to be placed in this study. Though there are a number of distinct shades of sardonyx, or onyx, I like this one.
Onyx was also on the breastplate of the priest bearing the names of the twelve tribes.
Exodus 28:9, 10
Take two onyx stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel: six of their names on one stone and the remaining six on the other, in the order of their birth. Engrave the names of the sons of Israel on the two stones the way a gem cutter engraves a seal. Then mount the stones in gold filigree settings.

   From The Topical Lexicon:
 1. Permanence and Strength: Like a mason choosing the hardest stones for foundational tiers, the heavenly Architect selects gems that will never decay (Revelation 21:14). Sardonyx’s toughness illustrates the inviolable security of the saints’ eternal dwelling.
2. Purity and Sacrifice: The deep sard layer evokes the blood of the Lamb, while the white onyx layer evokes righteousness (Revelation 7:14). Together they preach redemption: washed robes made white by atoning blood.
3. Witness and Authentication: Because sardonyx signet rings authenticated decrees, the stone signifies that God’s promises are sealed and irrevocable (2 Corinthians 1:20).

A Crucified Life - - Is A New Creation

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away: behold, all things have become new.

*Strong's Ex. Conc. No. 2537
New: fresh, new, unused, novel, unprecedented, unheard of before
From the Greek word 'kainos' (pronounced kahee-nos'): new in quality (innovative), fresh in development or opportunity – because "not found exactly like this before."

On becoming new believers in Christ God has made our old selves obsolete. With Christ in us and us in Christ we can now begin to live the holy life God deeply desires for us.
We are a new creation, a new beginning, a fresh start. We desire to draw near to God because we love Him. As John writes, "We love Him because He first loved us." (1 John 4:19). He needed to make us new because our old selves were unfit for the glories of the realm of heaven. Our old selves were unholy and the unholy has no place in God's dwellingplace.
You see how different the faithful believer is from the not so faithful believer. It is confusing when one says that they are a Christian but their life says very differently. Christian literally means one who lives in Christ. The 'ian' denotes nationality.
Peter writes that we are "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy." (1 Peter 2:9, 10).
See? In time past we were not God's people. But now, in Christ, we are God's people. It is only through the power of God in Christ via the power of the Holy Spirit that we are now made new in Him. Only God can make us new creations in Christ: nothing and no one else has this power. How cool is that? How awesome! How wonderful!
I am so glad that I am a new creation in Christ. My old self was destined for hell. Though I had been raised with a solid Christian upbringing, I did not stay there. I had low self-esteem and was always up for a good time, not realizing that those 'good times' weren't really good times. I made a lot of stupid, bad choices before I made one really good one: I asked Jesus into my heart.
God found me and made me His own. He made me new. He began to write His Word on my heart. He filled me with His Holy Spirit and beautiful songs poured out of my heart and my mouth. He anointed me to serve Him as a teacher and a preacher. My motherhood became anointed, too, because I was already a Mom when some of these things began to take place.

Connectivity

Nobody knows everything, but everybody knows something. This premise applies to every person and field of study. Some sciences study theories.
For instance,  the existence of our planet and how it came to be is constantly being studied and debated on every academia level, and in other fields of study. Creationism versus Evolution. Creation by God is not a theory; evolution is.
String theory, which studies whether or not everything is connected, is still being studied by physicists, who will not be able to prove this theory. Why not? Because we are not connected in that way.
We are all connected by The Word of God whether we believe it or not. Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." and John 1:1-3 "In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made."
The Word of God worked with God and The Holy Spirit to create everything that has ever been created, made, brought into being. It is this which connects all of us, not string, not evolution.

Garden of God Herb Co.-Time (Thyme)

Been awhile since I began this series. Got a couple of them done and then went to another subject. But I have been asking God to organize my mind and my thoughts as part of my healing process. Getting organized in here is what I want to be done, also. I guess in order to clean my desk off properly, instead of filing things and losing them, just to find them at a later date is not the solution.

But God is a God of order and not a god of chaos. Everything He does, He does in His time, not ours. Thank God for that, huh? Otherwise nothing of importance would ever get done. He created the universe in 6 days.
DAY ONE:

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and the darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light:
and there was light.
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
DAY TWO:
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the
firmament from the waters which were above the firmament:
and it was so.

And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
DAY THREE:
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters
called He seas: and God saw that it was good.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind,
and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed is in itself, after his kind:
and God saw that it was good.
And the evening and the morning were the third day.
DAY FOUR:
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven
to divide the day from the night;
and let them be for signs, and for seasons,
and for days, and for years:
And let them be for lights in the firmament of  the heaven
to give light upon the earth:
and it was so.
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day,

and the lesser light to rule the night:
He made the stars also.

And God set them in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth,
and to rule over the day and over the night,
and to divide the light from the darkness:
and God saw that it was good.
And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
DAY FIVE:
And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life,
and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
And God created great whales,
and every living creature that moves,
which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind,
and every winged fowl after his kind:
And God saw that it was good.
And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply,
and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
DAY SIX:
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle,
And creeping thing,

and beast of the earth after his kind:

and it was so.
And God made the beast of the earth after his kind,
and cattle after their kind,
and every thing that creeps upon the earth after his kind:

And God saw that it was good.
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them,
Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth,
and subdue it:
and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and
over the fowl of the air, and over
every living thing that moves upon the earth.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed,
which is upon the face of all the earth,
and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed;
to you it shall be for meat.

And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

And God saw every thing that He had made,
and, behold, it was very good.
And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
DAY SEVEN:
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished,
and all the host of them.
And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made;
and He rested on the seventh day from all His work
which He had made.

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it:
because that in it He had rested from
all His work which God created
and made.

Genesis 1 and 2:1-3
