Psalm 107:1-2 "O give thanks to The LORD, for He is good, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. Let the redeemed of The LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary."
In Christ we are Redeemed. Our souls have been bought back at great cost: the precious Blood of The Lamb of God. Who held us captive that such great a ransom should be paid for us? Satan. His lying tongue tempted us many times; but now we belong to Jesus.
Titus 2:14 "He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds." (Berean Study Bible)
