This World

This world in which I live

Has nothing to give

you and I, 

but grief.

But the place I long to be

is sitting at Jesus' feet

forever.

This world for which I pray

Has nothing good to say

on Jesus,

their only Hope.

But the place I long to be

is sitting at Jesus' feet

forever.

This world fights for peace

When peace is to be had

in Jesus,

for the asking.

But the place I long to be

is sitting at Jesus' feet

forever.

This world won't last forever

The wrath of God will devour

and destroy

whatever's left.

So I pray 

till Jesus' comes again

For all the lost 

and dying 

without Him

To be saved filled and serving

To be desirous of a Savior

To be holy unto God

This is my prayer

for you....

And the place I long to be

is sitting at Jesus' feet
