There are 365+ verses in Scripture which encourage us not to be afraid; reminding us that we who believe have nothing to fear for our GOD IS WITH US. IMMANUEL: GOD WITH US. JEHOVAH-SHAMMAH: THE LORD IS PRESENT.
Psalm 121 is whole chapter (8 verses) reminding us who our GOD IS and how He provides, protects and aides His people.
There are at least 15 verses saying "fear not" and that The Lord is with those who do not rebel against Him. If you are not obeying God, then you are rebelling against God. It's that simple. And if you are rebelling against God, now would be a good time to repent of your wickedness. The word 'repent' simply means to turn your back on sin and turn your face toward God and God's gift of Grace through Jesus Christ. If you don't repent, then, yes, you should be afraid. Of God's judgment on your thoughts and actions against His Word.
But if you believe that Jesus Christ Is Lord and that He died on the cross for you, defeated death and hell for you and walked out of the grave for you, then you are a believer. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9-13 that anyone at any time can call on The Lord's Name and receive salvation. Your race, your skin color, your ethnicity do not prohibit a person from being saved. GOD sent His only begotten Son that WHOSOEVER (THIS MEANS ME AND YOU) believes on Him should not perish but receive everlasting LIFE!
vs. 9 That if you confess with your mouth The Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that GOD raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.
vs. 10 For with the heart we believe unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
vs 11 For The Scripture says, 'Whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.'.
vs. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him.
vs. 13 For WHOSOEVER (ANYONE) shall call upon The Name of The Lord shall be saved.
