The Feet of Jesus

The feet of Jesus are beautiful

    Isaiah 52:7
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
    Romans 10:14-15
How then can they call on The One in Whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in The One of Whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach?
And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

The feet of Jesus walked everywhere.

From the time His ministry began ( Matthew 4:18), Jesus walked everywhere He went. Cities, towns and coastlines in Galilee. Beth-bara (where He was baptized in the Jordan). Jerusalem. Everywhere He taught, preached, healed and did miracles Jesus walked to get there. All this walking did not help to keep His feet clean, so they needed washing:

The feet of Jesus are washed, kissed and anointed.

    Luke 7:37-38
And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil.
    John 12:2-3
So they hosted a dinner for Jesus there. Martha served, and Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with Him. Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

The feet of Jesus were pierced.

    Psalm 22:16
For dogs surround Me; a band of evil men encircles Me; they have pierced My hands and feet.

The feet of Jesus are embraced.

    Matthew 28:9
And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.

The feet of Jesus are baptized.
    Matthew 3:18; Mark 1:9; Luke 1:21; John 1:29-33.

The feet of Jesus are sat at.
    Luke 10:39
And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word.
Matthew 5:1; Matthew 13:2; Mark 4:1; John 8:2 are references where crowds followed Jesus to hear Him, requiring Him to sit down and teach them.

The feet of Jesus shine brightly, like polished bronze (burnished/brilliant).
    Revelation 1:15
His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and His voice was like the roar of many waters.

My Name Shall Be There

 1 Kings 8:27-30

But will God indeed dwell upon the earth? The heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain You, much less this temple I have built. / Yet regard the prayer and plea of Your servant, O LORD my God, so that You may hear the cry and the prayer that Your servant is praying before You today. / May Your eyes be open toward this temple night and day, toward the place of which You said, ‘My Name shall be there,’ so that You may hear the prayer that Your servant prays toward this place. (cf Acts 7:48-50)

Acts 17:24-25
"The God who made the world and everything in it is The Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples made by human hands. Nor is He served by human hands, as if He needed anything, because He Himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. From one man He made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands.

God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. ‘For in Him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are His offspring.’ Therefore, being offspring of God, we should not think that The Divine Being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by man’s skill and imagination.

Although God overlooked the ignorance of earlier times, He now commands all people everywhere to repent. For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by The Man He has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead.”

Romans 10:8-11
But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.

It is just as the Scripture says: “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”
1 Corinthians 6:19
Do you not know that your body is the temple of The Holy Spirit Who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.

Are you the temple of God? Is His Name written on your hearts? I am God's temple. His Name, The Name of Salvation, is written on my heart by the power of His Holy Spirit. In me dwells The Living God. In fact, in every born-again believer dwells the presence of The Living God.
Jeremiah 31:33 tells us that God says He will put His Law in our minds and inscribe It on our hearts. And Ezekiel lets us know that God will remove the heart of stone (of unbelief) from us and replace it with a more fleshy (accommodating, moldable) heart. Ezekiel 11:18-20.

So, again, I must ask: Is God's Name, The Name Above All Names, written on your heart? As Jesus informed Nicodemus, "You must be born again. Born of water and of Spirit." Throughout the New Testament are jewels of wisdom to which we must adhere if we want to live a changed life, which starts with a change of heart and mind. A change which begins with having just enough faith to believe that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD. That He is The Way, The Life and The Truth personified.

Now is the time to repent of our wicked ways, ways in which God is not pleased, ways which dishonor God and take away from God. Today is your day of salvation. Please come to Jesus. Come and see Him, hear Him, believe Him and follow Him. Please come. We beg you to come now. Before it's too late.
